What a wonderful morning at the “Salon des Savoir-Faire / Forum des Entreprises et des Centres de Formation” held at the University of Mahajanga, in front of the AKIBA Museum!

The American Corner Mahajanga (ACM) was honored to be part of this inspiring event, and our stand welcomed a large number of visitors of all ages throughout the morning. It was a great opportunity to showcase ACM’s programs, activities, and opportunities, while also connecting with many university students and young people eager to learn more about our community.

A huge thank you to the M2 students of IUGM for the invitation and the organization of this meaningful event.

Special thanks as well to our amazing volunteers who passionately animated and represented the ACM stand with energy and dedication. And thank you to Anyah and Austin for joining and supporting us during the event.

Finally, thank you to all the organizers, participants, visitors, and partners who contributed to the success of this forum.

We are excited to launch the Digital Marketing & Communication English Club, a space designed for young people and professionals who want to practice English while exploring communication, media, marketing, storytelling, digital culture, and online creativity.

Want to improve your English, strengthen your communication skills, build your digital presence, and discover new professional opportunities? Join us for interactive weekly sessions where we will learn, connect, create, and grow together.

🚀 BIG NEWS FROM AMERICAN CORNER MAHAJANGA! 🚀

We are excited to announce a major upgrade to how visitors and members sign in at the American Corner Mahajanga - ACM!

Thanks to the creativity and dedication of our STEM Club mentors and leaders, part of the very first generation that helped launch the ACM STEM Club in 2023, we are transitioning from the traditional printed sign-up system to a fully digital, smart check-in system.

📱 What’s new?
Members and visitors will soon be able to:
✅ Scan their membership card QR code
✅ Tap simple icons on an iPad
✅ Select the program they are attending in seconds

📊 This new system will automatically generate real-time statistics for better coordination and program follow-up.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE TRANSITION ⚠️

This transformation will take time and will be implemented slowly and progressively. During this transition period:

🔹 Existing membership cards will gradually be replaced with brand new QR-code membership cards
🔹 Both systems may run side by side for some time
🔹 Members will be invited progressively to renew and collect their new cards
🔹 We kindly ask everyone to stay tuned and come get their new card when requested to do so
🔹 Your patience, understanding, and cooperation will be greatly appreciated throughout this process

💡 This innovation will make our processes faster, easier, smarter, and more environmentally friendly, a real step forward for ACM!

ACM LEAD 2026

From 13–16 May 2026, the American Corner Mahajanga - ACM proudly hosted an inspiring leadership and innovation workshop bringing together leaders and active members of associations, NGOs, clubs, and community organizations across Mahajanga.

Throughout the program, participants strengthened their skills in leadership, communication, project development, association management, and the use of AI tools for community impact.

A huge thank you to our partner, the Conseil Communal de la Jeunesse CCJ Mahajanga I 2025-2027, and to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Drjs Boeny and UNFPA Madagascar for their support.

Together, we are building a stronger generation of young community leaders ready to create positive change. 🤝

🎤 Final Pitch Day – Entrepreneurship Club Cohort 3!

Today at the American Corner Mahajanga, participants from Entrepreneurship Club – Cohort 3 are taking the stage to present the business projects they have been developing throughout the program.

After several days of intensive training, mentoring, teamwork, and preparation, this Final Pitch represents the culmination of their entrepreneurial journey, transforming ideas into concrete and structured project proposals.

👏 This session is also an opportunity for participants from previous cohorts who could not present earlier to finally showcase their projects before the jury.

A big thank you to our trainers, jury members, and partners for their continued support and commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs in Mahajanga.
