🇲🇺 🇯🇵 Launch of "Project To Disseminate The Kaizen Approach In The Republic of Mauritius And Neighbouring Countries"
☝️ The first Joint Coordinating Committee meeting of above Project was held on 21 May 2026, officially launching a three-year initiative (February 2026 – February 2029) to promote the Kaizen approach in Mauritius and neighbouring countries.
📍 The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Industry, SME and Cooperatives, the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) and JICA, to define the project’s strategic direction and validate its objectives.
Implemented by NPCC in collaboration with JICA, the project aims to:
✅ Strengthen the NPCC’s capacity to disseminate Kaizen in Mauritius and the region
✅ Support neighbouring countries in adopting Kaizen practices, while positioning the NPCC as a Centre of Excellence
🔎 As the project’s main decision-making body, the JCC reviewed the project framework and agreed on key milestones. All parties reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring effective implementation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the region.

🇲🇺 🇯🇵 Lancement de la Diffusion de l’Approche Kaizen en République de Maurice et dans les pays voisins.
☝️ La première réunion du Comité Conjoint de Coordination (JCC) dudit Projet s’est tenue le 21 mai 2026, marquant le lancement officiel d’une initiative de trois ans (février 2026 – février 2029) visant à promouvoir l’approche Kaizen à Maurice et dans les pays voisins.
📍 La réunion a rassemblé les principales parties prenantes, notamment le ministère de l’Industrie, des PME et des Coopératives, le National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) et la JICA, afin de définir l’orientation stratégique du Projet et d’en valider les objectifs.
Mis en œuvre par le NPCC en collaboration avec la JICA, le projet vise à :
✅ Renforcer la capacité institutionnelle du NPCC pour diffuser le Kaizen à Maurice et dans la région
✅ Appuyer les pays voisins dans l’adoption du Kaizen tout en consolidant le NPCC en tant que Centre d’Excellence
🔎 Le JCC, organe décisionnel clé, a examiné le cadre du Projet et validé les prochaines étapes. Les partenaires ont réaffirmé leur engagement en faveur d’une mise en œuvre efficace et du développement d’une culture d’amélioration continue.

🇲🇺 🇯🇵 「モーリシャス共和国及び周辺国へのカイゼン・アプローチ普及プロジェクト」の始動
モーリシャス（ポートルイス）– 2026年5月21日
☝️ 2026年5月21日、国際協力機構（JICA）によるモーリシャス・プロジェクトの第1回合同調整委員会（JCC）が開催され、モーリシャスおよび周辺国におけるカイゼン普及を目的とした3年間の取り組み（2026年2月～2029年2月）が正式に開始されました。
本会合には、産業・中小企業・協同組合省、JICA、および国家生産性競争力評議会（NPCC）の関係者が参加し、プロジェクトの戦略的方向性と主要目標が確認されました。
本プロジェクトはNPCCがJICAと連携して実施し、主に以下を目的としています：
✅ NPCCの能力強化を通じたカイゼンの国内外への普及
✅ 周辺国のカイゼン導入能力の向上と、NPCCの中核拠点（センター・オブ・エクセレンス）としての地位確立
🔎 JCCは本プロジェクトの意思決定機関として、枠組みと今後の計画について合意しました。関係者は、プロジェクトの成功と継続的改善文化の定着に向け、引き続き協力していくことを確認しました。
