Essaouira-Marokko Essaouira, havenstad in het zuiden van Marokko. De ommuurde medina heeft schilderachtige witte huisjes en straatjes.

Essaouira, ook wel 'bloem van Marokko' genoemd, is een stadje aan de westkust van Marokko, en ligt ter hoogte van Marrakech. Vergeleken met andere steden in Marokko is Essaouira heerlijk koel in de zomer. Dit komt door de Atlantische stromingen waardoor er bijna altijd wind is.
