‘The mutual learning event was a great opportunity to get updates on the current implementation of innovative projects across Europe. The case clinics were such a great tool to explore challenges and solutions that will help to further the development of our project.’
As highlighted by Ruy Alberto Hernandez, Subject Specialist for Labour Market Policy at the Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination of the State of Berlin, during the recent Mutual Learning Event for beneficiaries of the Call “Innovative Approaches Tackling Long-Term Unemployment” in Barcelona, Spain.
🧩 Over two days, project beneficiaries from across Europe came together to share progress, exchange experiences, and discuss common implementation challenges in tackling long-term unemployment. Through interactive case clinics and peer learning sessions, participants explored practical solutions and identified opportunities to strengthen the impact of their projects.
💡 The event also provided valuable insights through visits to Spanish organisation: Factoria Social de Terrassa - supporting the employment and social inclusion of vulnerable groups, showcasing practices that can inspire and inform approaches to supporting long-term unemployed individuals across Europe.
