🇱🇹 Šypsenos, juokas ir nepamirštami prisiminimai!

Kasmetinis festivalis „Būkime kartu“, kurį Nemenčinėje surengė Vilniaus tarptautinis klubas, subūrė beveik 150 vaikų iš Lietuvos vaikų namų, globos centrų ir ukrainiečių pabėgėlių šeimų, kad jie galėtų praleisti dieną, kupiną linksmybių, draugystės ir džiaugsmo.

Buvo gera matyti tiek daug vaikų, besimėgaujančių veiklomis, susirandančių naujų draugų ir kuriančių ilgalaikius prisiminimus svetingoje ir palaikančioje aplinkoje.

NATO pajėgų integracijos vienetas Lietuvoje didžiuojasi galėjęs paremti šią nuostabią iniciatyvą ir prisidėti prie sėkmingos dienos.

Nuoširdžiai dėkojame visiems, kurie padėjo sukurti vaikams tokią ypatingą patirtį.

The annual "Let's Be Together" Festival, organised by the Vilnius International Club in Nemenčinė, brought together nearly 150 children from Lithuanian orphanages, foster care centres, and Ukrainian refugee families for a day filled with fun, friendship, and joy.

It was heartwarming to see so many children enjoying the activities, making new friends, and creating lasting memories in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania was proud to support this wonderful initiative and contribute to making the day a success.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped create such a special experience for the children.

🇱🇹 Koks yra dabartinis NATO pajėgų integracijos vieneto Lietuvoje vaidmuo ir koks galėtų būti mūsų vaidmuo regioniniuose gynybos planuose ateityje? Tai buvo pagrindinės temos, aptartos Lietuvos kariuomenės Gynybos štabo viršininko kontradmirolo Giedriaus Premenecko vizito metu.

Nuoširdžiai dėkojame kontradmirolui Giedriui Premeneckui už vizitą ir atviras bei konstruktyvias diskusijas apie mūsų indėlį į kolektyvinę gynybą Lietuvoje. Bendradarbiavimis, pasirengimas ir regioninio saugumo stiprinimas išlieka mūsų misijos pagrindu, o tokie susitikimai yra būtini bendrai formuojant ateities gynybos planus.

What is the current role of the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania, and what could our future role be in the regional defence plans? These were the key topics discussed during the visit of Rear Admiral Giedrius Premeneckas, Chief of the Defence Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

We sincerely thank Rear Admiral Premeneckas for his visit and for the open and constructive discussions on our contributions to collective defence in Lithuania. Strengthening cooperation, readiness, and regional security remains at the heart of our mission, and exchanges like these are essential for shaping future defence plans together.

🇱🇹 Siekdami geriau pažinti Lietuvą ir jos turtingą istoriją, NATO pajėgų integracijos vieneto Lietuvoje atstovai apsilankė Lietuvos demokratijos širdyje – Seime, Lietuvos Respublikos parlamente.

Vizito metu vyko ekskursija po šią istorinę instituciją ir įdomus susitikimas su Seimo pirmininko pavaduotoja Viktorija Čmilyte-Nielsen.

Tokios patirtys stiprina mūsų ryšį su priimančiąja šalimi ir pabrėžia bendrų demokratinių vertybių bei bendradarbiavimo NATO aljanse svarbą.

To deepen our understanding of Lithuania and its rich history, the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania visited the heart of Lithuanian democracy — the Seimas, Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania.

The visit included a guided tour of the historic institution and an engaging meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Seimas, Mrs. Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen.

Experiences like these strengthen our connection with the host nation and reinforce the importance of shared democratic values and cooperation within the NATO Alliance.

🇱🇹 Kėdainiuose buvo paminėta Partizanų pagerbimo, visuomenės ir kariuomenės vienybės diena, kuri subūrė tuos, kurie kasdien tarnauja ir remia Lietuvą.

NATO pajėgų integracijos vienetas Lietuvoje su pasididžiavimu prisijungė prie Lietuvoje tarnaujančių Lietuvos ir tarptautinių partnerių, kad paminėtų šią reikšmingą progą.

Partisan Honouring, Public and Military Unity Day was celebrated in Kėdainiai, bringing together those who serve and support Lithuania every day.

The NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania proudly joined Lithuanian and multinational partners serving in Lithuania to mark this meaningful occasion.

On 4 May, the Netherlands commemorates all civilians and soldiers who have lost their lives in wars or peacekeeping missions since the outbreak of World War II.

Today, a small but meaningful ceremony was held at the residence of the Netherlands’ Ambassador to Lithuania to honour Remembrance Day and pay tribute to the fallen.

Together, we remember. Lest we forget.

The NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania had the pleasure of visiting Jurbarkas District Municipality, located in the beautiful southwestern part of Lithuania, stretching along nearly 70 km of the country’s largest river, the Nemunas.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with the municipality’s mayor and engage with the local community. We also delivered a briefing at Antanas Giedraitis-Giedrius Gymnasium, where we discussed NATO’s presence and activities in Lithuania, as well as the role of the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania.

This powerful message was at the heart of Colonel Merlijn Heiligers’ speech, Commander of the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania, at the award ceremony of the annual essay competition “We are NATO,” organized by the Lithuanian Mobilization and Civil Resistance Department.

🇱🇹 Pasvalys, esantis šiaurės Lietuvoje, Mūšos–Nemunėlio žemumoje, neseniai priėmė NATO pajėgų integravimo padalinio Lietuvoje atstovus.

NATO pajėgų integravimo padalinio misija – palengvinti greitą NATO pajėgų dislokavimą, stiprinti Aljanso reagavimo gebėjimus ir užtikrinti matomą, nuolatinę buvimą NATO rytiniame fl**ge. Šie svarbūs klausimai, taip pat regioninis saugumas ir bendradarbiavimas, buvo aptarti susitikimuose su Pasvalio meru ir Petro Vileišio gimnazijos moksleiviais.

Vizito metu padalinio nariai taip pat apsilankė Kuranos bioetanolio gamykloje – vienintelėje tokio tipo gamykloje Baltijos šalyse – siekdami geriau suprasti Lietuvos kritinę infrastruktūrą ir energetikos sektorių.

Pasvalys, located in northern Lithuania in the Mūša–Nemunėlis lowlands, recently welcomed representatives from the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania.

The NATO Force Integration Unit’s mission is to facilitate the rapid deployment of NATO forces, strengthening the Alliance’s responsiveness and ensuring a visible, persistent forward presence on NATO’s eastern flank. These important topics—along with regional security and cooperation—were discussed during meetings with the Mayor of Pasvalys and students from the Pasvalio Petro Vileišio Gimnazija.

As part of the visit, members of the unit also toured Kurana — the only bioethanol plant in the Baltic States — to enhance their understanding of Lithuania’s critical infrastructure and energy sector.
