📣 Jau prasidėjo gyventojų pajamų deklaravimas Valstybinei mokesčių inspekcijai (VMI).

👉 Savarankiškai dirbantys gyventojai turėtų ne tik deklaruoti savo pajamas, bet ir sumokėti valstybinio socialinio draudimo (VSD) įmokas bei privalomojo sveikatos draudimo (PSD) įmokas „Sodrai“.

💁 Ši pareiga aktuali šiems gyventojams:
- vykdantiems individualią veiklą su pažyma,
- mažųjų bendrijų ar ūkinių bendrijų nariams,
- individualių įmonių savininkams,
- bei ūkininkams, kurių ūkio ekonominis dydis viršija 4 EDV.

🗓️ Iki gegužės 4 d. šie gyventojai turi deklaruoti pajamas ir sumokėti įmokas „Sodrai“.

📍 Ką svarbu prisiminti?📍

🟡 Savarankiškai dirbantis žmogus gali mokėti įmokas kartą per metus arba kas mėnesį.

🟡 Jei įmokas žmogus moka kas mėnesį – deklaruojant pajamas VMI, apmokestinamųjų pajamų suma turi sutapti su ta suma, nuo kurios mokėtos socialinio draudimo įmokos.
Itin svarbu įvertinti, ar kiekvieną mėnesį deklaruotos sumos, bendrai sudėtos už metus, neviršija įmokų bazės.

🟡 Įmokų bazė nustatyta įstatyme:
-- 90 proc. nuo apmokestinamųjų pajamų vykdant individualią veiklą
-- ar 50 proc. nuo asmeniniams poreikiams išsiimtos lėšų sumos mažųjų bendrijų ar individualių įmonių savininkams.

🔎 Kur rasti informaciją apie mokėtinas „Sodros“ įmokas? 🔍
✔️ „Sodra“ kasmet asmeniškai informuoja savarankiškai dirbančius asmenis apie tai, kiek ir kokių įmokų jie turi sumokėti po deklaravimo
✔️ Pajamas deklaravę gyventojai savo įmokų „Sodrai“ dydį taip pat gali sužinoti prisijungę prie asmeninės paskyros ir patikrinę skiltį „Įmokos“.

📍Important: Income Tax Declaration Deadline: May 4

If you want to find out whether you have overpaid tax, you must complete an income tax return. You can fill it out now, but we recommend waiting until March, when the State Tax Inspectorate will receive data from the competent authorities. The return must be submitted no later than May 2. If you submit a correctly completed declaration by this date, any overpaid tax will be refunded no later than July 31, 2026.

In 2026, many foreigners living in Lithuania will take the Lithuanian language exam. Where should you start?
☑️ Register for the exam by creating an account on the NŠA website: https://eksternams.nsa.smm.lt/login
☑️ Registration opens 30 days before the exam, so you can already register for the February exams these days.
☑️ Pay the specified fee for the selected exam
☑️During the exam, you will complete reading, writing, listening, and speaking tasks.

If you pass the exam and receive an A1 certificate, it will be valid for two years. After that, you will need to pass the A2 exam.

В 2026 году многие иностранцы, проживающие в Литве, будут сдавать экзамен по литовскому языку. С чего начать?

From September 2025 to March 2026, "Create Lithuania" project, which focuses on creating a system for linguistic and sociocultural integration for foreigners living in Lithuania, is being implemented at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The project team have created a survey to learn about the experiences of foreigners in Lithuania related to learning the Lithuanian language, sociocultural integration, access to information and related challenges. The survey aims to better understand how foreigners navigate the current system, what difficulties they encounter and what, in their opinion, works or does not work in practice.
It would be much appreciated if you could take 10 minutes to complete it anonymously. The responses will be used to develop recommendations for improving language and sociocultural integration services.
The survey will be open until 5pm, 23rd January.

С сентября 2025 года по март 2026 года в Министерстве культуры Литовской Республики реализуется проект программы «Create Lithuania» (Kurk Lietuvai), посвящённый созданию системы языковой и социокультурной интеграции для иностранцев, проживающих в Литве. As the year slowly comes to an end, partners and friends gathered at International House Klaipėda for a cozy end-of-year evening 🤍

Over tea, coffee and homemade Christmas cake, we took time to connect, reflect on the year behind us and share thoughts and hopes for the year ahead ✨
