Over 50 Liberians have studied in Ireland under this programme since 2016 and this year we have our biggest cohort ever!

Best of luck to them or as we say in Irish, ‘Beidh an t-adh dearg orthu’! 🇮🇪 🧑‍🎓 👩‍🎓 🇱🇷

On Friday 12 June, Cathy Bennett TD and Senator Joe O'Reilly visited Concern Worldwide’s and Action Against Hunger Liberia’s ‘ASPIRE’ nutrition programme in Nyondu, Grand Bassa County, before later visiting UN Women Liberia’s programme on women’s political participation in Edina.

These programmes demonstrate the impact of Ireland’s development cooperation funding in both providing basic supports for Liberians and opening pathways for Liberian women to be involved in the decisions that affect them 🇮🇪 🤝 🇱🇷
