Sanniquellie City Corporation is the active arm of the city Government of Sanniquellie, Nimba provincial/County Capital. The City is located in the Sanniquellie-Mah Statutory District and the Nimba Electoral District #2. It borders the republic of Guinea at its north-western point; and surrounded by other big towns and villages including Sehyikimpa and Zolowee at its northern point Sopea and the D
uo chiefdom at its eastern point, Kitoma through Garr Region at its southern point and Gbuarh clan at its western point. The city hosts the superintendents office and other line ministries subdivision offices. The city corporation is headed by the City Mayor along with city council members. The city is expected to have its limits at but not conclusive in Kitoma, Zolowee, Gbuah and Sopea
The city also host the County referral hospital (GW Harley hospital and two additional clinics with several pharmacies), The Nimba County University College and four major high schools), Several diverse businesses and organizations and can boast of hosting as many well to do sons and daughters of its origin and nearby towns and villages.
