LSEZA PARTICIPATES IN INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP ON LIBERIA TRADE INFORMATION PORTAL

The Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority (LSEZA) today participated in an introductory workshop on the Liberia Trade Information Portal (LTIP), aimed at familiarizing government institutions and key stakeholders with the significance and benefits of a digital trade information platform.

The LTIP is particularly relevant to LSEZA’s mandate of promoting investment, trade, and business development within Liberia’s Special Economic Zones by providing investors and businesses with easier access to reliable trade and regulatory information through a single digital platform.

The workshop brought together representatives of government institutions and key stakeholders to strengthen understanding of the LTIP, demonstrate the Portal and its features, and discuss its implementation and progress.

The implementation of the LTIP is an important step toward simplifying trade procedures, reducing the time and cost of doing business, while creating a more transparent and predictable business environment.

The LTIP is being implemented under the Liberia Investment Finance and Trade (LIFT) Project, with funding from the World Bank.

LSEZA was represented at the workshop by our Director for Administration, Madam Hattie Wureh Hunder.
