UNIFICATION DAY MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE BUREAU OF STATE ENTERPRISES
Hon. JSB Theodore Momo Jr.
Fellow Liberians,
Today, May 14, we observe National Unification Day, a historic landmark established by Act of the National Legislature in 1960 under President William V.S. Tubman. This day honors the Unification and Integration Policy that sought to bridge the divide between Americo-Liberian and indigenous communities, creating one nation, one people, with equal opportunity for all.
As the Bureau of State Enterprises (BSE), we join other ministries, agencies, and commissions in commemorating this significant occasion. The spirit of unity is not merely a holiday, it is the foundation upon which we must build a prosperous Liberia.
On behalf of the entire BSE family, I extend warm wishes to His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, the Government of Liberia, and every Liberian at home and abroad.
May this Unification Day remind us that our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our greatest asset. Let us continue to work together across every county, tribe, and background for a Liberia that is just, inclusive, and forward-moving.
Happy Unification Day, Liberia! 🇱🇷
Hon. JSB Theodore Momo Jr.
Director General
Bureau of State Enterprises, Liberia
