Hello ok fm,iam Alvin Boley from Freeport opposite sawmill junction. iam the son of the late police officer chief inspector Alfred Nayou Boley how die on June 20 2022 in Monrovia. Mr Boley was one of the best traffic police officer in Liberia,he used to be assigned at Vai town traffic very simple respectful and hardworking police officer every Liberian admire him, Keke riders,bus drivers and even his fellow police officer. I have decided to come to ok fm because I know there were my voice will be hear. my father die on June 20 2022 while on his way to work,he die in his uniform wanted to go to work. since the death of my father in June 2022 the government has promised to pay him 3 months salaries including his benefits before taking his name from government pay roll,but since than nothing has been pay. the Same government is asking us to pay 250USD for a certain documents before we can be able to get what belong to him. I do not have money iam just a private security officer who salary can not even support my family iam begging the government to have mercy and give me what belong to my father. my father service this country tirelessly in the rain and sun. please call me if nessesary ..0778682329.

ANOTHER VISA RESTRICTION POLICY ON UNDERMINING DEMOCRACY IN LIBERIA. 🇱🇷 ‼️‼️

The American government has again warned against the rigging of the upcoming elections and they have set a straight policy to guide the pending elections from any possibility of rigging.

Below is the full statement from the American government

“The United States is committed to supporting and advancing democracy in Liberia and around the world. Today, I am announcing a new visa restriction policy under Section 212(a)(3)C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act for those undermining democracy in Liberia. This policy will take effect in advance of the upcoming election.

Under this policy, the United States will pursue visa restrictions for those believed to be responsible for, or complicit in, undermining democracy in Liberia, including through manipulation or rigging of the electoral process; use of violence to prevent people from exercising their rights to freedom of association and peaceful assembly; use of measures designed to prevent political parties, voters, civil society, or the media from disseminating their views; or engagement in any other activity designed to improperly influence the outcome of an election. Certain family members of such persons may also be subject to these restrictions. Persons who undermine democracy in Liberia—including in the lead-up to, during, and following Liberia’s 2023 elections—may be found ineligible for U.S. visas under this policy.

The visa restriction policy announced today will apply to specific individuals and is not directed at the Liberian people or the Government of Liberia. The decision to impose visa restrictions reflects the commitment of the United States to support Liberians’ aspirations to have free and fair elections that demonstrate the will of the people and strengthen democracy and the rule of law”
