The Adolescent Empowerment Network is dedicated to empowering adolescents with capacity, understanding, and opportunities for confident, productive, and independent contributions in their societies. We aspire, via capacity-building, education, and mentorship programs, to enhance adolescents in Sinoe and Montserrado counties in making productive and fulfilling contributions. Vision Statement:
We envision a world in which every teen is able to access education, vocational training, and leadership, empowering them to end poverty, assert their rights, and contribute positively toward sustainable community development. Objectives
Education and Vocational Training – Provide vocational training, literacy, and career guidance for adolescents, which can guide them toward employment and entrepreneurship. Leadership and Advocacy – Foster leadership among young people and enhance active engagement in decision-making on issues of interest in their own lives. Health & Well-being – Foster teenage well-being and wellness through reproductive well-being, mental well-being, and personal growth awareness programs. Gender Equality and Inclusion – Support programs empowering marginalized adolescents and girls, ensuring an equal chance for access to opportunities and resources. Community Involvement – Foster partnerships between schools, community leaders, and local government in a collective effort toward a healthy community for adolescents to mature and develop. Environmental Awareness – Educate and engage adolescents in climate action and sustainable development programs in a bid to promote environmentally aware societies.
