พุทธคยา (บาลี: พุทฺธคยา, อังกฤษ: Bodh Gaya) คือคำเรียกกลุ่มพุทธสถานสำคัญใน อำเภอคยา รัฐพิหาร ประเทศอินเดีย ซึ่งเป็นพุทธสถานที่มีความสำคัญที่สุด 1 ใน 4 แห่ง ของชาวพุทธ เนื่องจากเป็นที่ตั้งของสถานที่ตรัสรู้ของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า พุทธสังเวชนียสถานที่มีความสำคัญที่สุดของชาวพุทธทั่วโลก ปัจจุบันบริเวณพุทธศาสนสถานอันเป็นที่ตั้งของสถานที่ตรัสรู้ของพระพุทธเจ้า มีชื่อเรียกอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า วัดมหาโพธิ อยู่ในความดูแลของคณะกรรมการร่วม พุทธ-ฮินดู

พุทธคยา ปัจจุบันตั้งอยู่ด้านตะวันตกของแม่น้ำเนรัญชรา ไกลจากฝั่งแม่น้ำประมาณ 350 เมตร (นับจากพระแท่นวัชรอาสน์) พุทธคยามีสัญลักษณ์ที่สำคัญคือองค์เจดีย์สี่เหลี่ยมที่สูงใหญ่ โดยสูงถึง 51 เมตร ฐานวัดโดยรอบได้ 121.29 เมตร ล้อมรอบด้วยโบราณวัตถุ โบราณสถานสำคัญ เช่น ต้นพระศรีมหาโพธิ์ พระแท่นวัชรอาสน์ ที่ประทับตรัสรู้ และอนิมิสสเจดีย์ เป็นต้น ซึ่งนอกจากพุทธสถานโบราณแล้ว บริเวณโดยรอบพุทธคยายังเป็นที่ตั้งของวัดพุทธนานาชาติ รวมทั้งวัดไทยคือ วัดไทยพุทธคยา

สำหรับชาวพุทธ พุทธคยา นับเป็นหนึ่งในจุดหมายปลายทางที่สำคัญที่สุดของนักแสวงบุญชาวพุทธทั่วโลกที่ ต้องการมาสักการะสังเวชนียสถานสำคัญ 1 ใน 4 แห่งของพระพุทธศาสนา โดยในปี พ.ศ. 2545 วัดมหาโพธิ (พุทธคยา) สถานที่ตรัสรู้ของพระพุทธเจ้า ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลก ประเภทมรดกทางวัฒนธรรม ขององค์การยูเนสโก
