ජගත් පරිසර දිනයට අදාළ ජාතික පරිසර සතියේ තෙවන දිනය නම් කර ඇත්තේ දේශගුණික විපර්යාස සහ වායු දූෂණයේ බලපෑම් අවම කිරීම ප්රවර්ධන දිනය ලෙසයි.

ගෝලීය උණුසුම, අකාලයේ එන මහා වැසි, දැඩි නියඟය... මේ හැමදේම දේශගුණ විපර්යාසවල ප්රතිඵල. මේකට උත්තරය තියෙන්නේ අපේ අතේ. වායු දූෂණය අවම කරන්න, පොදු ප්රවාහනය භාවිතය, අනවශ්ය ලෙස ඉන්ධන දහනය නොකිරීම සහ ශක්ති පරිභෝජනය අවම කිරීමට අදම අධිෂ්ඨාන කරගනිමු. පෘථිවිය සුරැකීමට තවදුරටත් ප්රමාද නැත!
