මෙහිදී නිල Gov Pay සේවාවට සමාන ව්යාජ වෙබ් අඩවි භාවිත කරමින්, ඔබගේ වාහන තොරතුරු සහ බැංකු කාඩ්පත් විස්තර ලබාගෙන මුදල් සොරකම් කිරීම සිදු කරයි.

சிசிடிவி (CCTV) கண்காணிப்பு மூலம் போக்குவரத்து விதிமீறல்கள் கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளதாகக் கூறி, மோசடி செய்பவர்கள் SMS மற்றும் வாட்ஸ்அப் (WhatsApp) மூலம் தனிநபர்களை இலக்கு வைத்து ஏமாற்றி வருவது எங்கள் கவனத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளது.
இந்த மோசடி எவ்வாறு செயல்படுகிறது:
குற்றவாளிகள் உத்தியோகபூர்வ 'GovPay' தளத்தை அப்படியே பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட போலி வலைத்தளங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அபராதம் செலுத்துவதாக நினைத்து, தங்களது வாகன விபரங்கள் மற்றும் வங்கி அட்டை விபரங்களை உள்ளிடுமாறு தூண்டப்படுகிறார்கள். இதன் மூலம் மோசடி செய்பவர்கள் அவர்களின் கணக்குகளிலிருந்து சட்டவிரோதமாகப் பணத்தைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்கின்றனர்.

PUBLIC SECURITY ADVISORY - FRAUDULENT TRAFFIC FINE NOTIFICATIONS
It has been brought to our attention that scammers are actively targeting individuals via SMS and WhatsApp, falsely claiming that traffic violations have been detected through CCTV surveillance.
How the Scam Works,
Perpetrators are using fraudulent websites designed to closely mimic the official GovPay platform. Victims are prompted to enter their vehicle credentials and banking card details under the guise of paying a fine, allowing scammers to illicitly withdraw funds from their accounts.
⚠️ Critical Security Guidelines
Do Not Click - Avoid clicking on any unsolicited links received via text messages or messaging apps.
Protect Sensitive Data - Never share your One-Time Passwords (OTP), PINs, or CVV numbers with anyone. Official entities will never request this information.
Verify the URL - Always ensure you are interacting with official government portals carrying the .gov.lk domain suffix.
Check the Source - Disregard any notifications regarding domestic traffic fines or government payments originating from international phone numbers.
