ICTA Corporate Trainings The Industry Knowledge Enhancement Program of ICTA funds and facilitates training opportunities in priority ares for staff in the ICT Industry.

The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), was created as the apex government agency to oversight the development of ICT in Sri Lanka and to implement the project 'e-Sri Lanka' over the period 2006 - 2013. With the end of the 'e-Sri Lanka' program in 2013, the Government of Sri Lanka took over the funding of the ICTA and its projects from on wards and the ICTA was put under the purview of the 'Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure' in 2015. The ICT Capacity Building Program was transformed into the Industry Development Program (IDP) with projects focused on improving IT and BPM Industry in Sri Lanka. The Industry Development Program of ICTA contribute to the growth of digital jobs and opportunities in Sri Lanka in knowledge based industries and also in various business verticals. Facilitating this, 'Industry Knowledge Enhancement' program was designed under IDP, to enhance the awareness and understanding of required fields among employers and the future workforce in the Sri Lankan IT industry. Objective of the ICTA Corporate Training project is to enhance the quality of the existing workforce while building certified professionals in areas of high global demand.
