🏜️🦖 **NOT EVERY DINOSAUR LIVED IN A JUNGLE!**

Millions of years ago, dinosaurs roamed environments very different from the lush forests we often imagine.

In the ancient Gobi region, dinosaurs such as **Protoceratops** and **Velociraptor** lived in landscapes that included dry, sandy environments.

Imagine crossing a windswept plain while enormous dunes rise all around you…

The age of dinosaurs was far more diverse than we think!

**Would you survive one day in the ancient desert?** 👇

🌑 **WHEN THE SUN DISAPPEARED**

66 million years ago, an asteroid struck Earth—and the consequences went far beyond the initial impact.

Dust, soot, and other particles entered the atmosphere, reducing sunlight and triggering a devastating period of cooling. With photosynthesis disrupted, food chains across land and sea came under enormous pressure.

Many species disappeared. The world that emerged afterward was changed forever.

The darkness wasn't just a frightening sight. It threatened the foundations of life itself. 🌍

**Could you imagine surviving in a world where sunlight almost vanished?**

🌕 **WHAT IF THE MOON HAD BEEN MUCH CLOSER?**

Billions of years ago, the Moon orbited Earth at a much shorter distance than it does today.

Its stronger gravitational pull would have created more powerful tidal effects, shaping the ancient oceans of our changing planet.

Imagine standing on an ancient rocky shore beneath that enormous Moon. 🌊🌍

Earth’s past was more extraordinary than we can imagine.

**Would you dare to stand on that ancient coastline?** 👇

👀 **WHY WERE ITS EYES ON THE SIDES?**

Meet *Thescelosaurus*—a dinosaur that lived near the end of the Cretaceous Period.

Like many prey animals today, its side-positioned eyes raise an interesting question: how did it perceive the world around it?

Scientists have studied its skull and braincase, revealing clues about its senses and possible lifestyle. But we cannot know exactly how the world looked through its eyes.

🌎 The ancient world still holds incredible mysteries!

**Would you rather have eyes facing forward or eyes on the sides?** 👇

🌴❄️ **ANTARCTICA WAS ONCE GREEN!**

Imagine standing in Antarctica millions of years ago—not surrounded by endless ice, but by lush forests, ancient plants, and flowing rivers.

During warmer periods in Earth's history, Antarctica supported forests and surprisingly mild ecosystems. The frozen continent we know today once looked very different.

🌎 Earth’s past is stranger than fiction!

☄️🌑 **IMPACT WINTER: WHEN THE SUN DISAPPEARED**

66 million years ago, a giant asteroid struck Earth near what is now Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.

The impact unleashed catastrophic destruction. Dust, soot, and other particles entered the atmosphere, reducing sunlight and disrupting the ecosystems that depended on it.

As the planet cooled and photosynthesis declined, food webs faced a devastating crisis. The non-avian dinosaurs and many other species disappeared.

It wasn't simply an explosion that changed Earth forever. It was the darkness and environmental collapse that followed.

🌍 One impact. A changing planet. A new chapter in Earth's history.

💬 What do you think was more devastating: the initial impact or the darkness that followed?

🦕 **How did giant dinosaurs handle the impact of every step?**

A massive sauropod had to support an enormous body while walking across ancient landscapes. Its feet, bones, joints, and surrounding soft tissues all played roles in bearing that load.

Soft cushioning tissues beneath dinosaur feet are an intriguing possibility, but their exact structure and function cannot be confirmed for every species from fossil evidence alone.

Sometimes, the smallest anatomical details help us understand the biggest animals that ever walked on land. 🌍

💬 Which dinosaur body feature should we investigate next?

🌫️🦖 **A predator emerging from the ancient sea fog…**

Imagine walking along a prehistoric coastline as thick mist rolls in from the ocean. Visibility falls, waves crash against the shore, and a large theropod appears through the haze.

Could coastal predators have encountered prey in these conditions? Absolutely plausible — but whether dinosaurs deliberately used heavy sea fog as a hunting strategy remains unknown.

This is a cinematic reconstruction of one possible moment in the ancient world, not a confirmed hunting behaviour.

🌍 The prehistoric past still holds countless unanswered questions.

💬 Would you explore this coastline if you knew a predator might be nearby?

🦴🌍 **BEFORE DINOSAURS, THESE CREATURES RULED THE LAND!**

Long before Tyrannosaurus rex walked the Earth, strange members of the synapsid lineage dominated many terrestrial ecosystems.

🦖 **Dimetrodon** carried a spectacular sail on its back and lived millions of years before the first dinosaurs appeared.

🦷 **Inostrancevia** was a formidable gorgonopsian predator with enormous canine teeth.

They weren’t dinosaurs. They belonged to a different evolutionary lineage — one that ultimately gave rise to mammals, including us.

The prehistoric world was already full of extraordinary creatures before the age of dinosaurs even began.

💬 Which would you rather encounter: the sail-backed Dimetrodon or the saber-toothed Inostrancevia?
