A proposal prepared by the Association of Engineer Teachers of the University of Moratuwa (AETUM) on “Challenges of producing work-ready Engineering graduates in the 21st century” was submitted to the Minister of Education when the representatives from the AETUM executive committee met the Minister of Education on 24th August 2022 at the Ministry of Education, Battaramulla. The proposal consists of both short-term and long-term suggestions, considering the current economic conditions, long-term sustainability, and uplifting the quality of engineering education in the country.
