India in Sri Lanka - AHCI, Kandy Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy, Sri Lanka

The Assistant High Commission of India (AHCI) is the only foreign Diplomatic Post in Kandy which has an aura of itself. It was set up as far back as in 1923 as the Office of the then Government of India Agent, with the objective to mainly look after the welfare of the Indian labourers brought by the British Raj to work at the coffee, tea, and rubber plantation sectors set up in Upcountry Sri Lanka

. In the post-Independence period, it served as Visa Office of the High Commission of India in Colombo and in 1967 it was re-christened as the office of the Assistant High Commission of India, Kandy.

AHCI Kandy will organise Consular Camp on 21st May, 2026 (Thursday) at Conference Hall in the Chief Ministry of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, Ratnapura between 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs for providing consular services to all eligible persons.

සුදුසුකම් ලත් සියලුම පුද්ගලයින්ට කොන්සියුලර් සේවා සැපයීම සඳහා මහනුවර සහකාර ඉන්දියානු මහකොමසාරිස් කාර්යාලය විසින් 2026 මැයි 21 වන දින (බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා) රත්නපුර සබරගමුව පළාත් සභාවේ ප්‍රධාන අමාත්‍යාංශ සම්මන්ත්‍රණ ශාලාවේදී පැය 1000 සිට පැය 1300 දක්වා කොන්සියුලර් කඳවුරක් සංවිධානය කරනු ඇත.

Consular Campஉதவி உயர் ஸ்தானிகராலயம், கண்டி 2026 மே 21 ஆம் திகதி (வியாழக்கிழமை) அன்று, இரத்தினபுரியில் உள்ள சபரகமுவ மாகாண சபையின் பிரதான அமைச்சகத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள மாநாட்டு மண்டபத்தில் காலை 10:00 மணி முதல் 13:00 மணி வரை தூதரக முகாமொன்றை (Consular Camp) ஏற்பாடு செய்யவுள்ளது. இம்முகாமில் தகுதியான அனைவருக்கும் தூதரக சேவைகள் வழங்கப்படும்.

भारतीय सहायक उच्चायोग, कैंडी द्वारा 21 मई 2026 (गुरुवार) को सुबह 10:00 बजे से दोपहर 1:00 बजे तक सबरगमुवा प्रांतीय परिषद, रत्नापुरा के मुख्य मंत्रालय के कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल में सभी पात्र व्यक्तियों को कांसुलर सेवाएं प्रदान करने हेतु कांसुलर शिविर आयोजित किया जाएगा।
