Carry Books with Dreams 🎒📚

The Rotary Club of Jaffna, in partnership with Rotary District 3300, FOMSO Malaysia, and implementing partner Rotary Club of Mannar, proudly continues its education support initiative by donating 750 school bags to deserving students.

As the first phase, 68 school bags were successfully distributed, marking the beginning of this meaningful journey.

This project is generously sponsored by Rotary District 3300 and FOMSO Malaysia, supporting children to pursue their education with confidence, dignity, and hope.

Clean Water, Stronger Flood-Affected Communities” 💧

The Rotary Club of Jaffna is proud to have successfully implemented the RO Water Purification Project, providing safe and clean drinking water to over 6,000 beneficiaries across multiple districts affected by recent floods.
Under this humanitarian initiative, 7 RO water purification plants were installed:
📍 Nuwara Eliya District – 2 RO plants
📍 Badulla District – 2 RO plants
📍 Anuradhapura District – 1 RO plant
📍 Other priority locations – 2 RO plants
This project is helping prevent waterborne diseases and safeguard the health and dignity of vulnerable communities. After the emergency phase, the RO plants will be relocated to hospitals and schools, ensuring long-term community benefit.
