KDN සංකීර්ණය කියන්නේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ දකුණු පළාතේ පිහිටි සුප්‍රසිද්ධ වනාන්තර සංකීර්ණයකට. කන්නෙලිය, දෙදියගල, නාකියාදෙණිය කියන වනාත්තර තුනේ එකතුවක් වන මේ සංකීර්ණය KDN විදිහට හැඳින්වෙන්නෙත්, ඒ වනාන්තර නම්වල මුල් අකුරු තුනේ එකතුවක් විදිහටයි. 2004 වසරේදී එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ යුනෙස්කෝ සංවිධානය මඟින් මේ වන සංකීර්ණය අන්තර් ජාතික ජෛවගෝල රක්ෂිතයක් විදිහට නම් කරන්නේ, මෙහි ඇති ජෛව විද්‍යාත්මක සහ ජල විද්‍යාත්මක වැදගත්කම හේතුකරගෙනයි.

දකුණු ලක අසිරි සිරිය සිත්සේ විඳින්නට රිසි කොයිකවුරුත්, මඟ නොහැරිය යුතුම ස්ථානයක් ලෙස KDN Complex, එහෙමත් නැත්නම් KDN සංකීර්ණය හැඳින්විය හැකියි. එහෙම කිව්වහම සමහරුන්ට නම් ඒ නම නුහුරුත් ඇති. ඒ වුණත් දෙස් විදෙස් පරිසර ලෝලීන් අතර නම් මේ නම හුඟක් ජනප්‍රියයි.
