Kameela Nizar has been dabbling with the arts and crafts for over 3 decades. What began as an budding hobby has blossomed to a ripe passion that Kameela aims to share with her teaching. She began with Flower Arranging and has diversified to Creative Gift Wrapping, Dining Table Arrangement and Mosaic Design. Collecting many awards for her various skills such as the 2003 Design Festival Special Awar

d Category & winning the 2004 Dankotuwa Table Top Show. Her passion has enabled her to earn crucial roles in various clubs dedicated to the crafts such as the The Ikebana & Floral Art Society of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Landscapers Association & presently she is the treasurer of The Sri Lanka Institute of Interior Designers. She currently resides in the suburbs of Colombo with her husband and two children working away on various arts and crafts projects. All aspects of her design factor in recycling of materials in the aim of promoting sustainable design
