குறைந்தபட்ச தகுதி
• G.C.E. சாதாரண நிலை (O/L) தேர்வில் ஒரே அமர்வில் குறைந்தது 6 பாடங்களில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும் (தமிழ், கணிதம், விஞ்ஞானம் உட்பட)

*அல்லது*

பின்வரும் தகுதிகளில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்று இருக்க வேண்டும்
• TVEC அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் கட்டுமான துறையில் NVQ நிலை 3 முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும்

*அல்லது*

• G.C.E. உயர் நிலை (A/L) தேர்வில் ஏதேனும் ஓர் பிரிவில் (02) பாடங்களில் தேர்ச்சி

*அல்லது*

• நிந்தவூர் மாவட்ட தொழில்வாழ்க்கைப் பயிற்சி நிலையத்தில் நடத்தப்பட்ட Surveying and Levelling பகுதி நேர பாடநெறி முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

மேலே கூறப்பட்ட தகுதிகளை முழுமையாக பூர்த்தி செய்யாதவர்களும் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம், ஆனால் அவர்கள் பின்வரும் ஒன்றை கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும்:
