سرديَّةُ الحنين وشغفُ البِدايات .
على دروبِ الحياةِ تُصادِفُنا حكايا ، وتستوقفُنا وجوهٌ وتفاصيلْ ،نستخلصُ منها العِبرَ والخلاصات .
ثمَّةَ من يمرُّ فيها مرور الكرام ، ومن يقبع في مسلّمات التاريخ ويستسلم لحتميّةٍ كوَّنها الإعتياد .
وثمَّةَ من يأخذُ الماضي بتلابيبه لينتشل من حطامِهِ مستقبلاً مشرقاً ويفتح من خلاله أفاقا نحو إنسانيةٍ مضيئةٍ ومحطاتٍ للتلاقي ،
ثمة من يصر أن يترك أثرا وتميّزا .
هي الجذور التي تواصل إمدادَنا بماء الحياة
فنرتوي … لنستمر .
هو شغف الإنتماء وهوس المعرفة .
" سيلفيا حاج" ، المواطنة الأرجنتينية التي قصدت " بلدة سحمر " باحثةً عن جذورها وأصلَ عائلتها لأربعةِ أجيالٍ خَلَتْ ، قادَتْها أسئلةٌ وتحقيقاتٌ و تحليلات ، وربطَتْ الوقائع والوثائق ، وطوّعَتْ بعضَ الصُدفِ والتقاطُعات ، لتصل الى بلدة سحمر في البقاع الغربي ،الى الينبوع ، وتحديدا الى " أوتيل سحمر "، من هنا بدأت رحلتَها ، يقودُها اليقين ،وبدأت تجمع خيوط السرديّة ، فتلقّفتْها طيبةُ الناس واحتضانُهم وشغفُهُم الفطريِّ بامتدادهم المنسي ،
ل"سيلفيا حاج "تجربةٌ خاصة وشيِّقة ومعقّدة وانطباعاتٌ عفويةٌ ،صادقةٌ وأمينة , فكانَ اللقاءُ عفوياً ، صادقا ومؤثرا ، فاتحا أفقًا متجدّدا حول عشرات المهاجرين الذين تركوا أرضَنا، وامتصَّتهم أصقاعُ الأرضِ ومغرياتِها بحثاً عن رزق وعيش كريم لائق ،فذابوا حيث رحلوا ،
إلّا أنَّ آثارَهم بقِيَت وترسّختْ بمن امتلك ارادةَ المعرفةْ وشغفَ البحثِ عن حقيقَتِه وجذورِه وما أقلّهُم ، و"سيلفيا"نموذجا لهذه القلة النادرة ،

"Sylvia Hajj", a narrative of nostalgia and the passion of beginnings.
On the paths of life, we encounter stories, and faces and details stop us, from which we draw lessons and conclusions.
There are those who pass by unnoticed, and those who languish in the axioms of history and surrender to the inevitability of being habitual.
There are those who take the past by its sleeves to extract from its wreckage a bright future and open through it horizons towards a luminous humanity and points of convergence.
There are those who insist on leaving an impact and distinction.
They are the roots that continue to supply us with the water of life
We are satisfied...let us continue.
It is the passion for belonging and the obsession with knowledge.
"Sylvia Haj", the Argentine citizen who went to the town of Sohmor in search of her roots and the origin of her family four generations ago. With her activity, perseverance, love, and passion for knowing her roots, she was led by questions, investigations, and analyses. She linked facts and documents, and used some coincidences and intersections, to reach the town of Sohmor in the Bekaa. Western, to the spring, and specifically to the “Sohmar Hotel”, from here she began her journey, led by certainty, and she began to gather the threads of the narrative, so she was attracted by the kindness of the people, their embrace, and their innate passion for their forgotten expanse.
“Sylvia Hajj” had a special, interesting, and complex experience with spontaneous, sincere, and honest impressions. The meeting was spontaneous, sincere, and touching, opening a new horizon about dozens of immigrants who left our land, and were absorbed by the corners of the earth and its temptations, in search of a decent, decent livelihood, and they melted wherever they left.
However, their traces remained and were entrenched by those who possessed the will to knowledge and the passion to search for their truth, their roots, and what they lacked, and “Sylvia” is an example of this rare few.
