بلدية الكفور - فتوح كسروان

بلدية الكفور - فتوح كسروان Kfour village is located in Kesrouan, Mount Lebanon. Its height above sea level starts from about 400 meters to reach 1000 meters.

A Syriac word composed of the word (Kafar)
It means the small villages’ assembly. It is told in the ancient testament that it was a sanctuary visited by the believers of the idols worshipers in order to have remission to their sins, so they get votive offerings and sacrifices that they plant and burry in their lands for the obtainment of forgiveness, pardon and remission. The Kfour was also called

the Repentant Man. Its height above sea level starts from about 400 meters to reach 1000 meters, 35 km from Beirut. It was classified among the summering villages by virtue of the decree no. 1820 on September 20, 1929. The population in Kfour doesn’t exceed the 3000 persons divided among residents and emigrants.
