Escape to Mar Moussa🌄
Get ready for a day filled with adventure, breathtaking views, meaningful moments, and an unforgettable hiking experience at Mar Moussa!
Here’s a look at the program planned for our day:
• 8:00 AM — Begin the day with a serene Holy Mass at the Monastery of Mar Moussa.
• 9:15 AM — Gather for a traditional Lebanese breakfast at Mantoujet el Deir.
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Enjoy an easy hike (~5.5 km, normal trail) beneath the monastery. A relaxed walk through natural paths, open views, and fresh air. No difficulty, just rhythm and landscape.
• 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM — Explore the monastery’s farm and wine cave, discovering its story, heritage, and the quiet spirit that shapes Mar Moussa Monastery.
• 1:30 PM — Return to Mantoujet el Deir for a full Lebanese lunch featuring a live barbecue station, traditional mezza buffet, and arak, bringing the day to a warm and flavorful close.

• Wear something comfortable
• Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
• Make sure to carry a water bottle to stay hydrated
• Please arrive on time to ensure the program starts smoothly
• Respect the Monastery’s peaceful atmosphere and surroundings
