DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the BALADI CAP activity is to build the capacity of up to 50 local organizations by enhancing their financial management and internal governance, thereby enabling civil society to serve as lead actors in donor programs and to play a larger role in strengthening civic culture and enhancing democratic governance. The targeted beneficiaries are BLADI sub implementers as well as local organizations collaborating with municipalities in the BALADI municipal projects. These organizations could then be prepared for participation in current or future programs and may become direct recipients of USAID Funding.
