No to Violence AGAINST CHILDREN-Lebanon No to Violence against children is a national campaign against children physical abuse.

n rights in order to improve the situation of children in Lebanon and ensure their rights to survival, development and protection”
The council was established in 1994 by virtue of the decision No 29/94 issued by the Council of Ministers. It is presided by the Minister of Social Affairs, the Director General of the Ministry as Vice President and it includes members from several ministries, non governmental organizations and international organizations are specialized in children issues. A multidisciplinary group including the Secretary General undertakes the coordination and implementation of action plans and national strategies.

For the first time, under the patronage of HE Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Hector Hajjar and within the framework of the Sawa Ballouna project, the Ministry of Social Affairs / National Program for the Protection of the Family and Childhood / Higher Council for Childhood, the Association OFRA, the Saint Elie and Jacob Parish with the support of the Municipality of Ballouneh, along with 9 companies, the Maronite League, the World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation, Abaad, various NGOs, and several ministries are joining their efforts to implement the first vocational and educational expo for children on July 15-16, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM in Ballouneh. Registration is obligatory and free of charge.
