On 27 May 2026, the Italy–Cyprus Business Round Table was convened in Limassol. The event was organized by the Embassy of Italy in Cyprus in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Office in Beirut, which is also responsible for Cyprus. The round table brought together institutional representatives and business leaders from both countries and focused on strengthening bilateral economic, trade, and investment relations.
Among the participants were Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Antonella Cavallari, Ambassador of Italy to Cyprus, and Marina Scognamiglio, Director of the ITA Beirut Office, together with representatives of the Government of Cyprus, Chambers of Commerce, Invest Cyprus, and companies operating in the energy, defense, logistics, and infrastructure sectors.
The discussions focused on:🔹 Opportunities to further enhance Italy–Cyprus economic and commercial relations;🔹 Business support instruments made available through the Italian system, including CDP, SACE, SIMEST, and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
The meeting reaffirmed the strong mutual commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and advancing economic cooperation between Italy and Cyprus.
