اختُتمت زيارة الأمينة العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة شيخة النويس برفقة وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود، بجولة استثنائية في جنوب لبنان وصولاً إلى مدينة صور العريقة.
​بين زواريب المدينة القديمة، بيوت ضيافة تنتظر عودة زوارها بعد الظروف الأمنيّة الأخيرة.
أما المرفأ التاريخي والآثار الرومانية فهي الشاهدة على عمق وتنوع التاريخ.
الزيارة تعبر عن رسالة تضامن وأمل ودعم دولي لسياحة لبنانية مزدهرة ومستدامة 🇱🇧

The visit of UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Al Nuwais, accompanied by Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, concluded with a remarkable tour of southern Lebanon, reaching the historic city of Tyre.

Along the narrow streets of the old city, guesthouses await the return of visitors following the recent security challenges. Meanwhile, Tyre’s historic harbor and Roman ruins stand as enduring witnesses to the depth and diversity of its history.

The visit carried a message of solidarity, hope, and international support for a thriving and sustainable tourism sector in Lebanon 🇱🇧

ليس فقط لمجرد أنها أكل تقليدي أو بمتناول الجميع،
فقصة هذا القرص الذهبي وطريقة صنعه ثم مزجه مع الخضار والطحينة، هي فن بحد ذاته، لا يختلف اثنان على تناوله أكثر من مرة .
والجمعة ضرورية للمنافسة، خصوصاً في حضور الأصدقاء والضيوف.

زيارة منطقة الشوف لا تكتمل دون التوقف في قصر بيت الدين، حيث التاريخ والعظمة يلتقيان في عمارة فريدة صمدت عبر محطات زمنية متعددة. قصر بيت الدين، بأحجاره ونقوشه المزخرفة، والأقواس واللوحات الجدارية يروي قصص الحكام والزائرين الذين تركوا بصماتهم.
اليوم أصبح مقراً صيفياً للرئاسة الأولى ومنبراً للمهرجانات الدولية تحت النجوم.

A visit to the Chouf would not be complete without a stop at Beiteddine Palace, where history and grandeur come together in remarkable architecture that has stood the test of time.

With its stone walls, intricate decorations, elegant arches, and murals, the palace tells the stories of the rulers and visitors who have left their mark throughout its history.

Today, Beiteddine Palace serves as the summer residence of the Lebanese Presidency and as an iconic setting for international festivals held under the stars.

انعقد في مقر السراي الحكومي لقاء موسع بعنوان “السياحة محرك للتعافي واستعادة الثقة والاستثمار”، نظمته وزارة السياحة اللبنانية، برعاية وحضور رئيس مجلس الوزراء د. نواف سلام، وبدعوة من وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود، وبحضور الأمينة العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة شيخة النويس إلى جانب شخصيات رسمية واقتصادية.
الوزيرة لحود أكدت أن السلام والاستقرار هما البنية التحتية الأولى للسياحة، ولبنان قرر أن يعيد وصل نفسه بالعالم ويتخلص من كل ما أعاق تطوره وسيادته.
وشددت الأمينة العامة للأمم المتحدة للسياحة على أن لبنان يتمتع بكل المقومات ليكون وجهة سياحية بامتياز.
تُوج اللقاء بتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين وزارة السياحة والمنظمة الأممية.

A high-level conference titled “Tourism: A Driver of Recovery, Confidence and Investment” was held at the Grand Serail, organized by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism under the patronage and in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam. Convened at the invitation of Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, the conference brought together UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Al Nuwais, alongside senior officials and representatives from the economic sector.

Minister Lahoud emphasized that peace and stability are the foundations of a thriving tourism sector, reaffirming Lebanon’s determination to reconnect with the world and overcome the challenges that have hindered its progress and sovereignty.

UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Al Nuwais highlighted Lebanon’s exceptional tourism potential, stressing that the country has all the elements needed to position itself as a leading destination.

The conference concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism and UN Tourism.

صباحات القرى والمدن اللبنانية لا تكتمل إلا مع المنقوشة وجلسات العائلة حول إبريق الشاي.
ببساطة: زعتر بري مخلوط بالسماق والسمسم، والمغمور بزيت الزيتون الصافي،
ومع عجين وتنّور أم جهاد، يصبح أطيب وصفة لأشهر أكلة لبنانية.
ولا ننسى صحن الخضرة المشكلة من الجنينة واللبنة البلدية لتكمل الجلسة.

Mornings in Lebanon’s villages and towns are never quite complete without a freshly baked man’oushe and the family gathered around a pot of tea.

It starts simply: wild zaatar blended with sumac and sesame, generously mixed with pure olive oil. Add fresh dough and the warmth of Um Jihad’s traditional tannour, and you have one of Lebanon’s most beloved flavors.

A plate of freshly picked vegetables from the garden and some homemade labneh complete the table.

Celebrating the 255th Anniversary of the Mother Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located within the Patriarchal Monastery of
Bzommar in the mountains of Lebanon.
For more than two and a half centuries, this sacred church has stood as the spiritual heart of
the Armenian Catholic Church, a sanctuary of prayer, faith, and hope, where generations of faithful
have gathered to worship and preserve their rich religious and cultural heritage, under the Patronage of His Beatitude Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian.
