🍒 Cherry Picking Season is Open in Bchaaleh! 🌿
بدأ موسم قطاف الكرز في بشعله! 🌿🍒

Join Bchaaleh Trails Association for an authentic cherry picking experience in the small family orchards of Bchaaleh, scattered across the village landscape. Enjoy a peaceful day in nature, taste fresh cherries directly from the trees, and live the simplicity of rural village life away from the rush of the city.

انضموا إلى جمعية دروب بشعله لاختبار تجربة قطاف الكرز الأصيلة في البساتين العائلية الصغيرة الموزّعة بين أحياء وطبيعة بشعله. استمتعوا بيوم هادئ في أحضان الطبيعة، وتذوّقوا الكرز الطازج مباشرة من الأشجار، واختبروا بساطة الحياة الريفية الحقيقية بعيدًا عن ضجيج المدينة.

Last Saturday’s hike and sunset ended with something even more meaningful…

One of the students shared his reflection on the experience — especially the Jocelyne chair introduction and trial. 🌿
The event was organized in collaboration with the Lebanese Mountain Trail Association and the Lebanese American University.

مقتطفات من نهار يوم الأرض مع مستكشفي الدروب 🌿
نهار جمع شباب بشعله، ذاكرتها، حاضرها، وحلمها للمستقبل، من خلال ورشة “جذورنا قوّتنا” وأنشطة حملت معاني الانتماء، والتراث، والمحبة للضيعة. 💚

ومع قطع قالب الحلوى، وبحضور أعضاء الجمعية وأعضاء المجلس البلدي، جدّدنا تعهّدنا أن تبقى جمعية دروب بشعله تعمل لصالح المجتمع المحلي بكل أجياله، ومع كل الجهات والمؤسسات المعنيّة، من أجل مستقبل بشعله وسياحتها المسؤولة والمستدامة.

Highlights from our Earth Day 🌿

It was a meaningful day that brought together the youth of Bchaaleh, its memory, its present, and its hopes for the future through the workshop “Our Roots, Our Power” and activities centered on belonging, heritage, and love for the village. 💚

And as we cut the cake, in the presence of association members and municipal council members, we renewed our commitment that Bchaaleh Trails Association will continue working for the benefit of the local community in all its generations, and with all concerned institutions and partners, for the future of Bchaaleh and its responsible and sustainable tourism.

بمناسبة يوم الأرض، نشارككم فيديو أعدّه BTA Youth Pathfinders قبل ورشة "جذورنا، قوّتنا".

يجمع هذا الفيديو، الذي أعدّه الشباب بأنفسهم، قصصًا رواها كبار السنّ في بشعله عن الحياة في القرية قديمًا، والتقاليد المحلية، والقيم التي شكّلت المجتمع. وقد عُرض في بداية الورشة ليشكّل مدخلًا للتفكير بالذاكرة، والتراث، والعلاقة بين الأجيال.

من خلال هذا العمل، ساهم الـ Pathfinders في إيصال أصوات الكبار إلى الجميع، وخلقوا نقطة انطلاق مميّزة للتأمّل في ماضي بشعله، وحاضرها، ومستقبلها. 🌿💚

On the occasion of Earth Day, we are sharing a video prepared by the BTA Youth Pathfinders ahead of our workshop “Our Roots, Our Power.”

Created by the youth themselves, the video brings together stories shared by elderly people from Bchaaleh about village life in the past, local traditions, and the values that shaped the community. It was shown at the beginning of the workshop to help open reflection on memory, heritage, and the link between generations.

Through this work, the Pathfinders helped bring the voices of elders into the room and created a meaningful starting point for thinking about Bchaaleh’s past, present, and future. 🌿💚
