The Tannourine Cedar Forest Nature Reserve represented by Nabil Nemer committee member of the reserve and professional expert in biodiversity and ecosystem management, has proudly participated in a specialized international training program on Biodiversity Conservation and Human–Nature Coexistence.
This specialized training program on Biodiversity Conservation and Human–Nature Coexistence, hosted at the Carabinieri Forestry School – CoEEP in Sabaudia, Italy, is implemented within the framework of the UNDP–STEP4Nature Project, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).
This participation contributes to strengthening the reserve’s institutional and technical capacities, reinforcing its commitment to international best practices in biodiversity conservation, sustainable forest management, and harmonious human–nature coexistence. The knowledge and experience gained will directly support ongoing and future conservation strategies within the Tannourine Cedar Forest Nature Reserve.
