🇵🇱🤝🇱🇧 Today, the final part of the large-scale humanitarian aid operation, initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut, arrived in Lebanon.
Over the past three days, humanitarian assistance from Poland has been transported to Lebanon, with the support of the Polish Armed Forces, on the world’s largest cargo aircraft — the Antonov. Hundreds of pallets of medical and humanitarian aid were delivered, including medical equipment, dressings, protective materials, and supplies essential for the functioning of healthcare facilities.
This operation would not have been possible without the commitment and cooperation of many people and institutions. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this mission — the Polish Armed Forces, the Government Strategic Reserves Agency, Lebanese authorities, airport services, partners, volunteers, and all those working tirelessly behind the scenes of this operation.
Poland remembers Lebanon in difficult times. 🇵🇱❤️🇱🇧
At the same time, this is not the end of our work. We are now beginning the next stages of support through projects carried out by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut, as well as cooperation with Polish foundations and humanitarian organizations, so that the lives of the Lebanese people during this difficult time may remain dignified, safe, and filled with hope for a better future.
