Service to the poor and disadvantageous is regarded much holier than worshiping the God. And perhaps, it would be the greatest pleasure and satisfaction for a person who extends helping hands to such poor people. This kind of idea and thought had inspired and encouraged the SANTHWANAM Team members to work for such people in the beginning. "SANTHWANAM Kuwait”, was conceptualized by a group of nine

friends in Kuwait in 2001 with an objective to extend helping hands to the most unfortunate people physically and mentally challenged and seriously suffering from serious ailments in our society in India. It was a great challenge for the members of SANTHWANAM to translate the idea and thought into reality soon. We were fortunate that when people came to know the idea of SANTHWANAM, many came forward and joined hands with us as to become part of this noble cause. We continued our efforts to find more like minded friends… and their friends… We found many selfless, generous & kind hearted human beings…

The present day scenario in our society is that even an ordinary man is not able to bear the modern medical expenses. So we can imagine the plight of the economically backward patients. For them the situation is frightening. Even the educated and the elite are found ignorant of the present developments in treatments; the economically and socially backward patients are particularly hard hit. There are instances of these ignorant people being exploited. It is here that SANTHWANAM comes to their rescue.

സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റും ബി.ഡി.കെയും സംയുക്തമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പ് വിജയകരമായി സമാപിച്ചു

കുവൈറ്റ് സിറ്റി: സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റ് ബ്ലഡ് ഡോണേഴ്സ് കേരള (BDK) കുവൈറ്റ് ചാപ്റ്ററുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് ഇന്നലെ (മാർച്ച് 12) സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പ് ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. അദാൻ ബ്ലഡ് ട്രാൻസ്ഫ്യൂഷൻ സെന്ററിൽ വെച്ചു നടന്ന ക്യാമ്പിൽ കുവൈറ്റിലെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒട്ടേറെ പ്രവാസികൾ പങ്കുചേർന്നു.

ഈ വർഷത്തെ റമദാൻ മാസത്തിടനുബന്ധിച്ചു നടത്തിയ രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പ് സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റ് ഉപദേശക സമിതിയംഗം ഡോ. അമീർ അഹമ്മദ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ കൺവീനർ ശ്രീ. ബിവിൻ തോമസ് സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ച ഔദ്യോഗിക ചടങ്ങിൽ ബി.ഡി.കെ. കുവൈറ്റ് ജനറൽ കൺവീനർ നിമിഷ് കാവലം അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റ് ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ശ്രീ. അനിൽ കുമാർ കെ.എസ്., സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റ് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീ മാത്യൂസ് മാമൻ, ബ്ലഡ് ഡൊണേഴ്‌സ് കേരള (BDK) കുവൈറ്റ് ചാപ്റ്റർ പ്രതിനിധി ശ്രീ. രാജൻ തോട്ടത്തിൽ, തുടങ്ങിയവർ ആശംസകൾ അറിയിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു

BDK പ്രതിനിധി ശ്രീ. നളിനാക്ഷൻ ചടങ്ങിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തവർക്ക് നന്ദി പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു.

സാന്ത്വനം കുവൈറ്റ് ജോയിന്റ് സെക്രെട്ടറി ശ്രീ. അർഷാദ് ഷെരീഫ്, , മറ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികളായ ഷൈനി ഫ്രാങ്ക്, ജിജി രമേശ്, ശശീന്ദ്രൻ ടി.എസ്., എബി ഫിലിപ്പോസ്, സന്തോഷ് കുമാർ എസ്., പ്രസാദ് കെ.ആർ., സുമേഷ് ടി.എസ്., സലീം കൊമേരി എന്നിവരുടെ ഏകോപനത്തിൽ നിരവധി ദാതാക്കൾ രക്തം ദാനം ചെയ്ത്, റമദാൻ മാസത്തിലെ ഈ മഹത്തായ ദാനകർമ്മത്തിൽ പങ്കാളികളായി.
വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ പ്രതിനിധി അഞ്ജലീറ്റ രമേശിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഏകദേശം 15 ഓളം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ വോളണ്ടീയർ ആയി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ സമർപ്പണത്തിന് സർട്ടിഫിറ്റുകൾ നൽകി ആദരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

രക്തദാതാക്കൾ, ബ്ലഡ് ബാങ്ക് സ്റ്റാഫുകൾ, BDK കുവൈറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവർക്കും വോളണ്ടീയർ ആയി പങ്കെടുത്ത വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ, അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ എന്നിവർക്കും പരിപാടിയുടെ വിജയത്തിനായി സഹായം നൽകിയ സാന്ത്വനത്തിന്റെ മറ്റ് എല്ലാ വോളണ്ടീയർമാർക്കും പ്രത്യേക നന്ദി.

Santhwanam Organizes Blood Donation Camp

Santhwanam Kuwait, in association with Blood Donors Kerala – Kuwait Chapter, is organizing a blood donation camp.

This initiative is being conducted during the holy month of Ramadan in view of the shortage of blood in the blood bank during this period and considering the present situation.

The camp will be held on Thursday, March 12, from 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center.

Those who are interested in donating blood are kindly requested to fill out the Google Form provided below or contact the numbers listed below for further information.
