At the iconic Seoul Namsangol Hanok Village, where Korea’s 5,000-year civilization is carefully preserved, the rhythms of Rwanda’s 1,000-year civilization came alive through the vibrant performances of the Kagoma Cultural Performance Group.
This symbolic encounter between two proud cultures celebrated the universal language of music, dance and heritage, demonstrating how tradition continues to connect people across continents and generations.
As Rwanda continues its journey to safeguard and promote its rich cultural heritage, we are proud that our traditional practices are recognized on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, reflecting our commitment to preserving culture as a living legacy.
Through cultural diplomacy, we also extend an invitation to discover the beauty of Rwanda—its breathtaking landscapes, warm hospitality, vibrant culture and world-class facilities for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE).
