🇪🇺🤝🇺🇦🤝🇨🇦 지난 5월 11일 브뤼셀서 '우크라이나 아동 본국 귀환 위한 국제연대' 고위급 회의 개최에 이어,

🇺🇦 안드리 베쉬킨 주한우크라이나 대사대리, 🇨🇦 필립 라포르튠 주한캐나다대사, 🇪🇺 우고 아스투토 주한EU대사는 공동 기고문을 통해 러시아에 의해 불법 추방 및 강제 이송된 우크라이나 아동들의 복귀를 위해 국제사회가 행동에 나설 것을 촉구했습니다.

"지역과 문화, 정치적 견해를 넘어 협력함으로써 우리는 분쟁이 앗아간 아이들의 어린 시절을 되찾아주고 전 세계 모든 아동을 보호할 수 있는 국제적 체계를 강화할 수 있다. 아동의 권리와 존엄에 관한 문제에 있어서는 우리 모두가 공유하는 인간성이 언제나 최우선이어야 한다."

Following the High-Level Meeting of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children that took place in Brussels on 11 May 2026,

🇪🇺 Ugo Astuto, EU Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, 🇨🇦 Philippe LAFORTUNE, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Korea and 🇺🇦 Andrii VIESHKIN, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea released a joint op-ed urging the international community to act on the return of Ukrainian children, victims of unlawful deportation and forced transfer by Russia.

"By working together, across regions, cultures, and political perspectives, we can restore childhoods disrupted by conflict and strengthen the global framework that protects children everywhere. Because when it comes to the rights and dignity of children, our shared humanity must always come first."

2026년, 러시아 경제는 위기에 봉착했습니다.

전쟁이 견인하던 성장세는 동력을 잃었고, 러시아를 향한 제재는 더욱 조여오며, 재정 비축분은 줄어들고, 불확실성은 이제 일상이 되어 가고 있습니다.

한때 회복력처럼 보였던 것들은 결국 취약함이었음이 드러나고 있으며, 전쟁의 경제적 대가는 이제 전장을 넘어 확산되고 있습니다.

지난 4월 23일, 유럽연합은 러시아에 대한 제20차 제재안을 채택했습니다.

이번 제재안은 러시아의 경제 제재와 전투 역량을 더욱 무력화하는데 목적이 있으며,

🇪🇺🇺🇦 러시아의 침공에 맞서 싸우는 우크라이나와 우크라이나 국민에 대한 유럽연합의 변함없는 지지를 확인합니다.

유럽연합은 러시아에 대한 압박을 지속하고 강화해 나갈 것을 표명합니다.

In 2026, the Russian economy is in trouble.

War-driven growth is losing momentum, sanctions are tightening, financial reserves are shrinking, and uncertainty is increasingly shaping everyday life.

What for a while looked like resilience is proving to be fragile, as the economic costs of the war spread beyond the battlefield.

On 23 April, the EU adopted the 20th sanctions package against Russia.

The package aims to further cripple Russia's economy and war machine,

🇪🇺🇺🇦 And confirms the EU's unwavering support for Ukraine and its people in resisting the Russian aggression.

The EU remains determined to maintain and increase pressure on Russia.

러시아의 우크라이나 에너지 인프라를 겨냥한 대규모 공격으로 인해, 우크라이나 국민들은 혹독한 겨울을 견뎌야 했습니다.

유럽연합(EU)와 회원국들은 이 기간 동안 우크라이나와 함께하며, 도시의 불을 밝히고 가정을 따뜻하게 유지하기 위한 긴급 지원 물품을 제공했습니다.

🇪🇺🤝🇺🇦 EU는 전쟁 기간 동안 찾아온 겨울마다 우크라이나를 지원해 왔으며, 앞으로도 지원을 이어나갈 예정입니다.

Russia launched massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leaving the Ukrainian people to endure harsh winter conditions.

The EU and its Member States stood with Ukraine during this time, providing emergency winter support to keep cities lit and homes warm.

🇪🇺🤝🇺🇦 The EU has supported Ukraine through every winter of the war and will further continue its support.

러시아는 3일 안에 키이우를 점령할 것으로 예상했었습니다. 하지만 4년이 지난 지금, 우크라이나는 여전히 굳건히 서 있습니다.

2022년 2월, 러시아는 우크라이나 정부가 몇 시간 안에 붕괴할 것이라고 믿고 전면적인 침공을 개시했습니다. 러시아 국영 언론에 성급한 “승리” 기사가 게재되면서 크렘린이 얼마나 자신감에 차 있었는지가 드러났습니다. 그러나 우크라이나의 저항은 키이우를 향한 공세를 저지했고, 64km에 달하는 군사 차량 행렬을 파괴했으며, 전쟁 초기 호스토멜 공항을 방어해냈습니다.

전쟁은 결코 며칠 만에 끝나지 않았습니다. 오히려 유럽을 재편하고, NATO를 확장시키며, 드론, 오픈소스 정보(OSINT), 정보전 대응력 등 현대 전쟁의 형태를 변화시켰습니다.

침공 4년이 지난 지금, 전선의 움직임이 둔화되는 가운데 러시아는 우크라이나의 에너지 기반 시설과 민간인을 점점 더 표적으로 삼고 있으며, 우크라이나는 정규전과 정보전 모두에 더욱 적응해 나가고 있습니다.

Russia expected to capture Kyiv in 3 days. Four years later, Ukraine is still standing.

In February 2022, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine believing the government would collapse within hours. A premature “victory” article published by Russian state media revealed just how confident the Kremlin was. Instead, Ukrainian resistance stopped the assault on Kyiv, destroyed the 64 km convoy, and defended Hostomel Airport in the opening days of the war.

The war did not end in days. It reshaped Europe, expanded NATO, and transformed modern warfare through drones, open-source intelligence, and information resilience.

Four years into the invasion, as battlefield momentum slows, Russia increasingly targets Ukrainian energy infrastructure and civilians, while Ukraine continues adapting in both conventional and information warfare.
