🎓 2026년 GKS(정부초청외국인장학생) 대학전형 안내 🎓

한국학중앙연구원 한국학대학원은 국립국제교육원이 운영하는 GKS(Global Korea Scholarship) 수학대학입니다.

외국인 학생들은 GKS 프로그램을 통해 1년간의 한국어 연수 후, 한국학대학원에서 석사 또는 박사과정에 진학할 수 있습니다.

📌 모집 개요

1️⃣ 모집과정: 석사 또는 박사 학위과정

2️⃣ 모집전공: 한국 관련 인문·사회과학 분야 13개 전공

3️⃣ 장학혜택: 입출국 항공료, 등록금, 어학연수비, 학업장려금
(어학연수: 연 1,440만원 / 학위과정: 연 1,656만원)

4️⃣ 지원자격: 초청국 국적 보유자
‣ TOPIK 성적 없어도 지원 가능
‣ 단, 한국문화학 석사 과정은 TOEFL iBT 80 또는 IELTS Academic 6.5 이상 필요

🎓 2026 GKS University Track Admissions 🎓

The Graduate School of Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies is a designated host institution for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS).

Through the GKS program, international students can complete 1 year of Korean language training, followed by Master’s or Doctoral studies in Korean studies.

📌 Application Details

1️⃣ Programs: Master’s / Doctoral

2️⃣ Majors: 13 fields in humanities & social sciences related to Korea

3️⃣ Benefits: Airfare, tuition, language training, stipends (KRW 14.4M/year for language training; KRW 16.56M/year for degree programs)

4️⃣ Eligibility: Applicants from designated countries
‣ TOPIK not required. For the MA in Korean Cultural Studies, official English scores are required (TOEFL iBT 80+, IELTS Academic 6.5+).

5️⃣ Deadline: April 1, 2026 – by postal mail

의미 있는 유적지 답사, 재밌는 체험활동, 맛있는 식사까지! 즐거웠던 1박 2일 강원도 체험학습이었습니다📸

✨ 지난 12월, 한국학대학원 정치학 전공 이완범 교수님의 정년퇴임 기념 발표회가 열렸습니다.

‘한국정치사의 길’이라는 이름으로 진행된 이번 행사에서는 한 학기 동안 교수님의 저작을 숙독한 학생들의 발표와, 후학들의 논의에 답하는 이완범 선생님의 말씀이 이어졌습니다.

수십 년간 치열한 사료 분석과 균형 잡힌 시각으로 한국 정치사를 연구해오신 이완범 교수님의 정년을 진심으로 축하드립니다. 🌿

✨ Last December, the Graduate School of Korean Studies celebrated Professor Wanbeom Lee’s retirement with a special symposium.

Entitled “The Path of Korean Political History”, the event featured presentations by political science students who had studied his works throughout the semester, followed by Professor Lee’s thoughtful responses to his younger colleagues.

For decades, Professor Lee has illuminated Korean political history with rigorous analysis and balanced perspectives. We sincerely congratulate him on his retirement and honor the wisdom he has shared. 🌿

한국학중앙연구원 정문을 든든히 지켜주신 김민호 선생님께서
19년간의 근무를 마치고 2025년 12월 31일자로 정년퇴직하셨습니다.

등록된 차량 1,600대의 번호를 모두 기억하시고,
연구원 구성원은 물론 가족과 친구들의 차량까지 챙겨주시던 세심한 모습,
비가 오나 눈이 오나 늘 꼿꼿이 거수경례로 맞아주시던 모습은
연구원의 강인한 첫인상이자 우리의 안전을 지켜주는 든든한 마스코트였습니다. 💙

이제 자주 뵙지 못하지만,
어디서든 건강과 평화가 함께하시길 진심으로 기원합니다 🙏🙏🙏

아쉬운 마음을 가득 담아,

Mr. Minho Kim, who has faithfully guarded the main gate of the Academy of Korean Studies,
retired on December 31, 2025, after 19 years of dedicated service.

He memorized the license plate numbers of more than 1,600 registered vehicles,
remembering not only those of our members but also their families and friends.
Rain or snow, he always greeted us with a dignified salute,
becoming the Academy’s strong first impression and a reliable guardian of our safety.💙

Though we may not see him as often now,
we sincerely wish him health and peace wherever he may be.🙏🙏🙏
