Large Bakery Café Near Seongnam, Ibaejae Bakehouse 🥐

Unlike factory-type bakeries, Ibaejae Bakehouse, which is located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, performs the entire process of baking including taking measurements, kneading, and fermenting all at the store. All pastries are made with kneads measured using Lescure A.O.P natural butter from France instead of frozen dough every morning to offer customers the best taste and deep flavor. Furthermore, it uses natural starters developed by Ibaejae Bakehouse to bake healthy bread that is easy on the stomach and undergoes a careful fermentation process to maximize the true taste and texture of flour. Hyundai Museum of Kids’ Books & Art, or MOKA, is located in Pangyo, Bundang-gu, Seongnam, and it is the first children’s art museum based on the theme of books in South Korea. This place was designed so that children can gain an understanding of themselves by reading illustrated books and experience methods of understanding the meanings embedded in stories and about others through various and interesting ways. MOKA is closed on Mondays and is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all other days. Admissions are allowed until 6 p.m., and the admission fee is 6,000 KRW but is free for children under 36 months old.

Take a Walk Around the Namhansanseong Dullegil.🌆

How about taking a leisurely walk around Namhansanseong Fortress near Seoul to enjoy its sceneries? Namhansanseong was formerly used as a fortress spanning 12.4km, and it was registered as a world heritage in 2014. The Korean writer Kim Hoon also published , which is a novel set in Namhansanseong. This mountain fortress was built on rugged topography 25km southeast away from Jongno, the center of Seoul, and it was a defensive fortress where the king would be able to stay during times of emergency during the Joseon Dynasty. In addition, it was the first provincial park designated in Gyeonggi-do, and because visitors can drive up to the fortress by car, it is always crowded with visitors on weekends. Come take a walk around the Namhansanseong Dullegil, or trekking course, which has a total of five courses!
