Mr. Jose Ilarraza Rivera serves as the Eighth Army G4 deputy. The G4 plans and sets policy for all of Eighth Army logistics. Ilarraza hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. “I love the G4 team members; great group of professionals!” When he’s not working with the greatest logisticians in the world, you can find Ilarraza at the River Bend Golf Course on U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys (Camp Humphreys).

He performs a variety of duties associated with the planning, introduction, modification, and/or upgrading of automated sustainment information systems and software supporting logistics operations for Eighth Army. Palomino enjoys working side-by-side with (Korean Augmentation to The U.S. Army) Soldiers, Sustainment Automation Support Management Office and Communications and Electronics Command personnel, and integrating logistics to enable the force to win the fight. 57 Years ago today the 19th General Support Command was activated in Seoul. Since then the unit has undergone several re-designations and relocations. One thing that hasn't changed is our unwavering sustainment support of US forces who help maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

From July 2 - July 9, mask wear is mandatory for all Eighth Army personnel, vaccinated or not, in unit facilities. Offices, communal areas in barracks, and any locations where personnel congregate, interact, or work together. Mask wear and adherence to the USFK core tenets helps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Check your local garrison pages for any additional garrison guidance.
