On 5 January, MAJ Wagenheim was officially promoted from the rank of Major (MAJ) to Lieutenant Colonel (LTC). The promotion ceremony was presided over by COL Torres and attended by family members, Soldiers, and DA Civilians of the 411th Contracting Support Brigade.

This milestone reflects LTC Wagenheim’s dedication, leadership, and continued commitment to mission excellence. We are incredibly proud of this well deserved accomplishment and look forward to his continued service and positive impact on the brigade. 🇺🇸🎉

In addition, MAJ Wagenheim took a moment to commend CPT Lim for his hard work and dedication. As a time honored officer tradition, the newly promoted officer gifted his former rank insignia to a junior officer a gesture symbolizing mentorship, respect, and the continuation of leadership within the officer corps.

This meaningful moment further highlighted the professionalism and camaraderie shared among the officers and members of the brigade, making the promotion ceremony even more memorable. 🇺🇸

Today's is on Kihyun Kang of the 411th Contracting Support Brigade! Kang serves as a contract specialist in RCO-Kunsan and supports requirements across construction, supply and service domains for the 8th Fighter Wing. He continues to master his craft and provides rapid contract solutions and construction administration directly impacting not only the Airmen and civilians but the 8th FW’s ability to accomplish their mission. Over the past two years working at ACC contracting with the 411th, he has touched, completed, and modified 105 contract actions to support construction projects at RCO-Kunsan.

On 4 December , 411th Contracting Support Brigade conducted its Town Hall, opening with updates on upcoming brigade events and initiatives. During the session, new Kontracting Officers (KOs) and incoming team members were recognized and welcomed to the organization. The brigade also celebrated long serving personnel, whose careers span between 10 and 40 years of dedicated federal service, reflecting the strength and experience within the CSB. Military team members were awarded for their exceptional performance and commitment during the recent government shutdown. The event concluded with remarks from senior leaders, who shared their expectations, goals, and priorities as the brigade continues to drive excellence into the final stretch of 2025.

On December 3rd, the 411th Contracting Support Brigade GPC Team Mrs. Staffel and Mrs. Hye-Young Lee conducted Government Purchase Card (GPC) training in support of Army and Air Force counterparts across the Korean peninsula. This training is vital to ensuring units maintain proper fiscal stewardship, streamline small purchase processes, and strengthen joint contracting readiness. By enhancing GPC management and compliance, the 411th CSB continues to empower mission partners with the tools and knowledge needed to sustain operations efficiently and responsibly.
