Gyeongju City is glad to announce the opening of Isfahan International Children's Panting Competition 2023, an international event held by Isfahan, Iran, on the theme of "Jobs in My City."
On August 20, 2013, Gyeongju and Isfahan became friendship cities based on the similarities of being the representative city of history, culture, and tourism in each country as well as the city along the Silk Road. Since then, both cities have engaged in various exchange activities and marks 10th anniversary of friendship city agreement next year. We ask for your interest and participation!

◆ Title : Isfahan International Child’s Painting Competition 2023
◆ Applicant Requirement : Children from 4 to 18 years old
◆ Theme : Jobs in My City
◆ Artwork Requirement : Painting by an individual(at least A3-sized white paper without frame)

📢 Administrative Order Following the Reinforced Distancing Measures

To prevent further spread of COVID-19, Gyeongju City will strengthen distancing measures as below.

Period: Thursday, December 16, 2021~Wednesday, December 22, 2021
Place: All areas within Gyeongju
Target Facilities: Private academies(hagwon, gyoseupso), nurseries,
martial arts gyms, and sports academies
* Martial arts gyms, and sports academies: Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, Kendo, Hapkido, Football Class, etc.
Administrative Order: Ban on gathering/holding classes at above facilities.

** For those who find taking care of children at home difficult (both adults working, bad health conditions, etc.), emergency child care service will be provided. Please contact nursery school of your children for further information.

Phase 1: Monday, November 1, 2021 ~Until Further Notice (Effective for 6 Weeks)

Starting Monday, November 1, Korea takes a step toward a gradual return to normal life.

📍 Private Gatherings: Up to 12 people allowed regardless of vaccination. But for restaurants and cafe, up to 4 unvaccinated/partially vaccinated people are allowed.
📍 Nightlife Venue: Must submit certificate of negative COVID-19 test result/vaccination.
📍 Karaoke, Indoor Sports Gymnasium, Public Bath, etc.: Must submit certificate of negative COVID-19 test result/vaccination, only the fully vaccinated, etc.,* will be allowed to use the facility.
☑️The fully vaccinated, etc.*: those who are fully vaccinated (those who are 14 days after their final vaccine shot), whose COVID-19 PCR test result is negative, whose age is 18 or under, or those who cannot take vaccines due to medical reasons.
📍 Restaurant, Cafe: As for unvaccinated/partially vaccinated people, up to 4 people are allowed.
📍 Events, Assemblies: Less than 100 people. Less than 500 people allowed, if only consisted of the fully vaccinated, etc.*

📣 COVID-19 Special Relief Aid for Gyeongju Citizens

📍 Who are to Receive: All individuals (Koreans, foreigners, overseas Koreans) whose address (residence) registration date in Gyeongju is before Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 00:00.

📍 Who are to Apply for the Aid: Adults aged 20 and older.

📍 When to Apply: September 9, 2021~December 24, 2021, 6pm
Saturday and Sunday are open only on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, during the intensive application period.

📍 How it will be Provided: by a 100,000 KRW prepaid card.
The card will be used at any types of business within Gyeongju (except for supermarkets and online stores) until December 31, 2021. Unused amount of money will be returned to the city.
