📢 Scheduled Facility Upgrade at Camp Walker Army Health Clinic

From April 2–26, Camp Walker Army Health Clinic will complete a planned HVAC system upgrade to improve facility infrastructure, indoor air quality, and the long-term comfort for our patients and staff.

What Patients Should Know
✅ The clinic remains fully operational
✅ All appointments and services will continue as scheduled
🌡️ Heating and air conditioning will be temporarily unavailable
🧥 Indoor temperatures may vary — please dress in layers or bring a light sweater for comfort

This work has been strategically scheduled during the seasonal transition period to minimize impact and complete upgrades before monsoon season and peak summer temperatures.

We appreciate the community’s understanding as we continue improving the environment where care is delivered.

UPDATE as of 1400: Great news! Our hard-working Facilities Maintenance Team was able to repair the A/C units straight away. Should be feeling nice and breezy now! 🌬

🏀⚽️🎾⚾️SCHOOL & SPORTS PHYSICAL RODEO 2025 🏐🏓🏈🥍

To help USAG Daegu families prepare their children for the upcoming school year & sports season, Wood PCMH will host School & Sports Physical Rodeos in August for empaneled patients ages 3 - 18. Physicals will be completed by pediatricians and family medicine providers.

AUG 07: From 0800 - 1100
AUG 08: From 1230 - 1600

⚠️ Heat Outage Alert – Camp Walker (Wood) Health Clinic ⚠️

The heating system in Bldg. 221 (Main Building) at Camp Walker (Wood) Health Clinic is currently down due to a broken boiler. As a result, indoor temperatures are ranging between 52-55°F.

We are actively working to resolve this issue. A replacement part has been ordered for rush delivery and is expected to arrive by close of business today, significantly reducing the original 7–10 day wait time. In the meantime, we are bringing in portable electric heaters to help maintain a comfortable environment.

THE CLINIC REMAINS FULLY OPERATIONAL, AND ALL SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE. However, we recommend that visitors and patients dress warmly for their appointments. 🧥🧣🧤

If you would prefer to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call the Central Appointment Line 📞 0503-337-2273 as soon as possible—or at least two hours prior to your scheduled time—to avoid a No-Show and allow another patient to use the appointment slot.
