Areas in close proximity may also experience disruption.

WATER INTERRUPTION NOTICE

Date: Friday, 12 June 2026

The Water Department advises customers that there will be a temporary interruption in the water supply on Friday, 12 June 2026, to facilitate leak repair works.

Affected Area:
Jessups (near the Church of God of Prophecy), Paradise to Nelson Spring.

Interruption Time:
- Please be advised that water service will be temporarily interrupted from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Friday, 12 June 2026, to facilitate leak repairs.

Customers in the affected areas are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water for use during the interruption.

NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (June 2026) – The following is a notice from the Nevis Water Department regarding the Disconnection of Water Services.

The Nevis Water Department advises the public that disconnection of water services for customers with high or overdue balances will take place from Tuesday, June 16th to Friday, June 26th, 2026.

To avoid disruption, all outstanding balances must be paid in full by Friday, June 12th, 2026. Please be reminded of the following:
- A $150.00 reconnection fee will be applied to all accounts scheduled for disconnection after June 12th, 2026. All arrears and the reconnection fee must be settled before service can be restored.
- A fee of $1,800.00 will be charged for meter tampering.
If a meter is damaged, a replacement fee of $2,300.00 will be applied.

Reconnections will be completed within 24 hours of payment. However, reconnection services will not be available between 3:00 p.m. on Fridays and 8:00 a.m. on Mondays.

Hamilton to Pinneys: Customers may experience lower than normal water pressure from 8:30 A.M to 11:30 A.M.

Areas in close proximity may also experience water outage or shortage during this period.
