នាព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្នុងឱកាស ដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចផ្លូវការរបស់ ឯកឧត្តម នាយឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ ទៀ សីហា ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី និងរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងការពារជាតិនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ទៅកាន់ប្រទេសអូស្ត្រាលី គណៈប្រតិភូជាន់ខ្ពស់នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ដឹកនាំដោយ ឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ឯក សួន សំណាង អគ្គនាយករង អគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានគោលនយោបាយ និងកិច្ចការបរទេស និងជាប្រធានក្រុមសម្របសម្រួលកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការយោធា (MCCG) បានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជា ជំនួបក្រៅកម្មវិធីផ្លូវការ (Sideline Meeting) ជាមួយ លោក Bernard Phillip ឧបការីទី១ ទទួលបន្ទុកគោលនយោបាយអន្តរជាតិ។
កិច្ចពិភាក្សាបានផ្តោតលើការពង្រឹង កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការ និងការចូលរួមក្នុងវិស័យការពារជាតិរវាងកងទ័ពនៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរ ការអភិវឌ្ឍ សមត្ថភាពរួម និង ស្ថានការណ៍តាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ព្រមទាំងការផ្លាស់ប្តូរទស្សនៈលើកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែង ដើម្បីរក្សាសន្តិភាព ស្ថិរភាព និងលើកកម្ពស់ការយោគយល់គ្នាតាមរយៈមធ្យោបាយសន្តិវិធី។ ភាគីទាំងពីរក៏បានពិភាក្សាអំពី ទិសដៅ និងអាទិភាពនៃកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការនាពេលអនាគត។
កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះបានបញ្ជាក់ជាថ្មីនូវ ការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរួមរបស់កម្ពុជា និងអូស្ត្រាលី ក្នុងការបន្តពង្រឹងទំនាក់ទំនងការពារជាតិ ការយោគយល់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាក់ស្តែងរវាងកងទ័ពនៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។
On the morning of 8 September 2026, as part of the Official Visit of H.E. General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to Australia, a senior delegation from the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by LTG. Suon Samnang, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Military Cooperation Coordination Group (MCCG), held a sideline meeting with Mr. Bernard Phillip, First Assistant Secretary responsible for International Policy.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation and engagement between the Armed Forces of Cambodia and Australia, the development of joint capabilities, as well as the situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border. Both sides exchanged views on efforts to maintain peace and stability and promote mutual understanding through peaceful means. The meeting also discussed the future direction and priorities of bilateral defence cooperation.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Cambodia and Australia to further strengthening defence ties, enhancing mutual understanding, and advancing practical cooperation between the two Armed Forces.
