1986 by the funding support from UNICEF has started implementing the EPI and reached all provinces across the country by 1998 and early 1999 immunization for tetanus was also provided to women.
• Cambodia was certified polio free in 2000.
• 2001, introduced auto disposable syringes and safety boxes
• 2003, national communication strategy was developed
• Between 2000 and 2005, hepatitis B vaccine w

as introduced with a 4
dose schedule including delivery of a birth dose
• 2009 , Phase in approach of Japanese Encephalitis
vaccine was introduced in three provinces (20% of target
population)
• 2010, conduced AH1N1 vaccination campaign and
pentavalent vaccine
