សារមន្ទីរសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងរូបិយវត្ថុ ព្រះស្រីឦសានវរ្ម័ន ហៅកាត់ថា ស.ស.រ ត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងដោយធនាគារជាតិនៃកម្ពុជា។ សារមន្ទីរ ស.ស.រ បង្ហាញជូនសាធារណជននូវព័ត៌មានថ្មីមួយដែលអ្នកពុំធ្លាប់បានដឹង ស្តីពីប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តរបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាចាប់តាំងពីសតវត្សរ៍ទី១ រហូតដល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន តាមរយៈទិដ្ឋភាពសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងរូបិយវត្ថុ។

គោលបំណងនៃការបង្កើតសារមន្ទីរគឺ មិនត្រឹមតែប្រមូលផ្ដុំរូ

បិយវត្ថុប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងបង្ហាញ និងពន្យល់អំពីទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងរូបិយវត្ថុ ស្ថាប័ន និងសង្គម ដោយរៀបរាប់អំពីប្រវត្តិសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងនយោបាយរបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងកំឡុងពេល២០០០ឆ្នាំ។ សារមន្ទីរមានសាលពិព័រណ៍ចំនួន១២ ដោយភ្ជាប់ជាមួយនឹងការបង្ហាញតាមរយៈសោតទស្សន៍ និងអន្តរកម្មដ៏សម្បូរបែប ដោយរួមទាំងវត្ថុបុរាណ ផ្ទាំងព័ត៌មាន ខ្សែភាពយន្តឯកសារ ឧបករណ៍បញ្ជាដោយអេក្រង់ និងល្បែងកំសាន្ត និងល្បែងល្បងប្រាជ្ញាជាច្រើន។ ការតាំងពិព័រណ៍របស់សារមន្ទីរ ត្រូវបានរចនាតាមបែបទំនើប ដែលត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងដើម្បីបំពេញការឆ្លើយតបទៅនឹងការរំពឹងទុករបស់ភ្ញៀវជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ។

សារមន្ទីរសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងរូបិយវត្ថុ ព្រះស្រីឦសានវរ្ម័ន ត្រូវបានសម្ពោធដាក់ឱ្យប្រើប្រាស់ជាផ្លូវការក្រោមអធិបតីភាពដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ របស់សម្តេចអគ្គមហាសេនាបតីតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា នាថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០១៩ ហើយបានបើកជូនសាធារណជនអញ្ជើញចូលទស្សនា។

Established by the National Bank of Cambodia, the Preah Srey Içanavarman Museum of Economy and Money, also called SOSORO, presents the public with a unique and lively account of Cambodia’s history since the 1st century until nowadays, from an economic and monetary perspective. The purpose of the SOSORO Museum is not only to gather monetary collections but also to showcase and explain the relationship between money, institutions and society while narrating the Kingdom’s economic and political history throughout the past 2,000 years. The Museum comprises 12 modules with a rich audiovisual and interactive display including artefacts and bilingual information panels but also fifty video recordings, numerous touch screens and various games. The exhibition is enhanced through a modern museography designed to meet the expectations of domestic and international visitors. The Preah Srey Içanavarman Museum of Economy and Money was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Cambodia on 8 April 2019 and is open to the public.

On May 9, 2026, Canadia Bank organized a field trip for their staff to visit the permanent exhibition of the Preah Srey Içanavarman Museum of Economy and Money (SOSORO).
On that occasion, they were guided through the museum's modern exhibition recollecting Cambodia's historical journey, and gained in-depth knowledge about monetary and economy evolutions of the country, as well as the role of the riel currency in contributing to the development of the nation.

They learned about 2,000 years of Cambodia's fascinating history, especially from an economic and monetary perspective.

On June 3, 2026, His Excellency Nguyen Minh Vu, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Vietnam, visited the Preah Srey Içanavarman Museum of Economy and Money (SOSORO). During his visit, H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu was guided through the museum’s modern exhibition recollecting the historical journey of Cambodia, and gained in-depth knowledge about its monetary and economic evolutions over the past 2,000 years, as well the role of the riel currency in contributing to the development of the nation.
