Good Solar Innovation Co., Ltd. Good Solar Innovation Co., Ltd. is photovoltaic solar company. We strive to Increase energy supply rate of the rular region as a social enterprise.

was founded by Good Neighbors NGO to increase energy supply to people who live in rural areas and are within low income groups, as a social enterprise. Following our value of “Sharing light, sharing life”, we distributed 1,300 solar head lanterns to villagers from May, 2013 to February, 2014. However, having realized the importance of sustainable and responsible support, we established and opened

the Solar Energy Center on August, 2013, in Ou Taki, Battambang. This company is registered as a corporation with the Cambodia government as “Good Solar Innovation” with the concept of Social Enterprise. We started selling Solar Home System(100W, 200W, 400W) and have been providing a check- up service, with a 1 year on-site warranty, to enable the sustainable use of solar energy. Also, we strive to share the benefits with local villagers, by conducting Solar Basic Training as well as a manpower program providing Solar Home System installation skills to increase the knowledge of solar energy as well as the participation in related activities. Among those who have a good understanding about photovoltaic solar systems and have good installation skills, we offer them the beneficial opportunity to work as support staff in order to provide them with an additional income.

នៅទីនោះ។ ជាលទ្ធផលយើងអាចឃើញការផ្លាស់ប្តូរ។ ប៉ុន្តែយើងមិនគិតថាយើងបានសម្រេចនូវអ្វីដែលយើងចង់បាននោះទេ។ ហើយយើងមិនគិតថាជាកន្លែងដែលយើងត្រូវការនោះទេ។ យើងកំពុងព្យាយាមធ្វើឱ្យមានការផ្លាស់ប្តូរល្អសម្រាប់ប្រជាជននៅទីនោះហើយចង់ឃើញការផ្លាស់ប្តូរយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័ស។

Floating area is one of the most beautiful place in Cambodia. As you can see in the photo, if you are on the boat at there during sunset, you will feel the overwhelming beauty from the nature. But, the living condition in there is not the same as its looking. One of the hidden things behind there is that there is no grid electricity because of the geographical feature. No electricity means darkness and unsafety after sunset.

Good Solar Innovation have been working there for the past few years to improve the living conditions. We have been installing Solar Home System there and educated the people there. As the result, we could see the changes. But, we don’t think we accomplished what we want. And we don’t think we are where we need to be. We are just trying to make good changes for the people there and want to see the changes soon.

យើងគ្រាន់តែសង្ឃឹមថាស្ថានភាពរស់នៅរបស់អតិថជនយើងនឹងកាន់តែប្រសើរឡើងជាមួយនិងការប្រើប្រាស់ ប្រព័ន្ធសូឡា ។

Good Solar Innovation visited one of our customer family to get some feedback about Solar Home System. The 3 main points from our talking are that they liked our standard product and installation with adequate techniques, installment payment system and easiness for using.

We just hope that the living condition of our customer will be better with SHS.

One of our customer said “I could have saved time through Solar Home System because I haven’t needed to go to battery charging station after I have SHS”. Do you remember that we have installed Solar Water Pump at at Popealkher Primary school some weeks ago? As the result, 280 students and 31 kids of community pre-school can use enough water for hand washing and other purposes. Clean and enough water is very important and directly related to sanitation. Good Solar Innovation’s technical team installed SWP(Solar Water Pump) at Banteay Meanchey. The water from the SWP will be used for farming or washing. It means that people can get enough water during dry season at their farms and wash their hands at schools and other facilities by using SWP.

We are trying to seek innovative way to solve the problems that are spread on our communities. That is why we are Good Solar Innovation and we are pleased to do it.

Good Solar Innovation technical staff have found a broken Solar Home System at Otaki. The owner asked us to fix it although it is from other solar company. And we were pleased to fix it.

There are many solar company in Cambodia. But there are not many solar company that provide proper maintenance. Some companies just sell the product and leave it. But maintenance is one of the services that solar company have to provide for customer’s satisfaction and for keeping spread value related to electricity and climate change as well. That’t why we keeping providing regular check up service and free warranty service.

Maintenance is as important as other things. For a long term, we think it would be considered the most important.
