Kyrgyz Express Post LLC has been operating in the postal market of Kyrgyzstan since March 16, 2012 under the license no. 12-917-КР granted by the State Communication Agency of the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, providing a wide range of postal, financial and other services both to individuals and legal entities. On December 7, 2012, Kyrgyz Express Post LLC was granted the status of second designated postal operator of Kyrgyzstan, which was further confirmed by the Universal Postal Union International Bureau circular 83 of 21 May 2013. Basing on the status granted, It has been decided to issue postage stamps of the second designated postal operator of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. KEP stamps are a new phenomenon in the 175-year-old worldwide tradition of stamp issuing: for the first time in philatelic history the second postal operator of an UPU member country, designated according to article 2 of the Universal Postal Convention and operating throughout the entire territory of Kyrgyzstan, has issued its own stamps. The detailed information about KEP services, rates and philatelic products can be found on the official KEP page: www.stamps.kg
