Kenya Wildlife Service, in collaboration with the County Government of Kwale, successfully conducted a Driver Guides Training in Ukunda for South Coast Tour Driver Guides.

The training brought together 150 driver guides and marked the third coastal training initiative after successful sessions in Mombasa and Malindi. Collectively, the program has now trained over 500 driver guides across the Coast region.

The initiative focused on enhancing:
โœ… Wildlife conservation awareness
โœ… Customer service excellence
โœ… Sustainable tourism practices
โœ… Safety and responsible guiding
โœ… Knowledge of Kenyaโ€™s unique biodiversity and tourism attractions

These trainings continue to strengthen the capacity of tour driver guides as key ambassadors of Kenyaโ€™s tourism and conservation sectors.
