Today afternoon, we gathered at AGC Mulot Grounds in Ilmootiok Ward, Narok West Sub-County for an Economic Empowerment Activity aimed at uplifting women, youth, self-help groups and Persons Living With Disabilities through targeted support and community development initiatives.
During the event, we issued Economic Empowerment cheques to 16 women groups, self-help groups, youth groups and PWD groups, among them:
1. Chepkujun Women Group- Ksh. 50,000
2. Kelyot Self Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
3. Kobor Self-Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
4. Mulot Vision Youth Group- Ksh. 50,000
5. Bethel Chepkona Self-Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
6. Revival Women Group- Ksh. 50,000
7. Olala Self-Help Group (5 Joint groups)- Ksh. 200,000
8. Ilmotiok Lower Commissioners Self-Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
9. Chemaluktany CBO- Ksh. 100,000
10. Kutete Boda Boda- Ksh. 100,000
11. Chepnyaliliet Women Market- Ksh.100,000
12. Tuyobei Kaproret- Ksh.100,000
13. Ringwa Central Self-Help Group- Ksh.100,000
14. Kilanda Disabled Self-Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
15. Olsise Disabled Self-Help Group- Ksh. 50,000
16. Kiprotkorik Block A Women Group- Ksh. 50,000
We also issued 100-seater tents to:
> Koilonget Self Help Group
> Quarry Marino CBO
> Bethel Ololmiraani Women Group.
In addition, six 5,000-litre water tanks were donated to benefit:
•Chebinyiny Boda Boda SACCO & Carwash Machine
• Chemagel Primary School
• PEFA Church – Mulot
• Mulot Youth Town Group & Carwash Machine
• AGC Mulot Town Church
• Asenga Secondary School
Further, 60 umbrella shades were gifted to Mama Mboga small-scale traders to support and improve their businesses.
